Puerto Caleta Apartments

“ THE PUERTO CALETA APARTMENTS ARE GOOD VALUE, VERY CLOSE TO THE BEACH JUST A 5 MINUTE STROLL. THE APARTMENTS COULD DO WITH A LITTLE ATTENTION, A LICK OF PAINT WOULD BE GOOD, BUT WERE VERY COMFORTABLE AND QUITE WELL EQUIPPED FOR SELF CATERING. WE VERY MUCH APPRECIATED THE ADJOINING BALCONIES AS THERE WERE FOUR OF US, HAVING TWO 1 BEDROOMED APARTMENTS . THE EL CAPITAN BAR AND RESTAURANT WAS VERY GOOD WITH GREAT FOOD AND ENTERTAINMENT ALSO THE LORD NELSON POOL SIDE BAR, WHICH ARE ALL ON-SIGHT. THE POOL ITSELF WAS VERY ATTRACTIVE WITH PLENTY OF SUNLOUNGERS BUT COULD DO WITH SOME MORE SUN-BROLLIES.

“ Top Tip: WE ATE AT "WILD WEST" A FEW TIMES WHICH WAS EXCELLENT ALSO "15" WHICH IS A RESTAURANT ANOTHER 5 MINUTE STROLL. LOS CAROCOLITOS IN LAS SALINAS IS WELL WORTH A VISIT VERY GOOD FOOD.

“ We arrived at our apartments with a warm welcome from reception and felt very lucky to have an upper floor apartment overlooking the pool area which we had requested. Apartments were very spacious, cleaned every day, change of towels daily and were well equiped with hob, microwave toaster and kettle. The pool bar on site, The Lord Nelson was very friendly with lovely hosts, Greg and Katherina, bar snacks were tasty, there was entertainment most nights with quizzes and karaoke. The beach was only 5 minutes walk ,this being the same for all the bars and restaurants. Everyone was so friendly and most bars offered 2 for 1 drinks. A courtesy room is offered on the day of departure with clean towels due to 10am vacation of room. We would recommend the apartment complex and the resort which is only 15 minutes transfer from the airport. Many thanks also to Travel Republic which we booked flight and hotel, our requests were forwarded to the apartments and all travel documents were e-mailed efficiently, we will certainly book with you again and have recommended you to family and friends! Overhall our holiday was really lovely.

“ Top Tip: We had some good evenings in 'The Cave' a small friendly spanish bar and opposite an irish bar/restuarant 'The Step In' for lovely food and cheerful hosts. I think we tried most restaurants and bars and all were very friendly and found it very cheap to have a good meal and a few drinks. Just before the beach is Mini-Golf and children are well catered for with safe play areas and a park on the beach.

as they are mobile and able to use stairs as there are steps from the reception
area to apartments so they could bedifficult for some people
