Less than 1 km away is the nearest fine sand beach and the town centre is 1.5 km from the hotel with a multitude of dining, shopping and entertainment. The proximity to the port of Corralejo makes it possible to visit by a short boat ride, the island of Lanzarote and Isla de los Lobos.The welcoming and bright rooms come with an en suite bathroom with shower, a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone (with charge), air conditioning, a balcony or a terrace and a hire safe.There is an indoor swimming pool, a children's pool, a whirlpool, a squash court, a massage service and a gym available for use. It also has a solarium with hammocks and Bali beds. There are activities day and night entertainment and a pool bar. The Hotel Arena will have service of Shuttle, Hotel-Grandes Playas from 11/04/06 and the timing will be as follows: departure at 10:30 and 11:00 hrs. and return (Grandes Playas-Hotel) at 15:00 and 16:00 hrs.

This was our second visit to Hotel Arena, we liked it so much last year we had another visit this year!
We still liked it but Pina Coladas were off the cocktail list this year which I was really disappointed about so this was my biggest gripe.
The hotel staff are great, polite and hard working.
Some folk grumbled about the food, the chips are not to UK palates but I can not feel sympathy to these people. I go on holiday to try different foods and we appreciate the food on offer which was varied and plentiful.

Top Tip:
We like the location of this hotel, on the edge of the town, small and friendly, within easy reach of the wonderful sandy beach. Not on top of other hotels and a nice walking distance after our evening meal to stroll into the town.
Some trouble with 'ticket toutes' for time shares and restaurants but we learnt to avoid them!

“ we found the hotel staff very helpful and friendly. the hotel itself was kept very clean,fresh towels every two days,and bedding changed in the middle of the week.we found no fault with the food,it was well presented,plenty of it,and a good selection to choose from.Alvaro in the pool bar/snack bar was always cheerful and helpful as were the waiters in the restaurant.We have no compaints about this hotel.
