“ We have stayed at Atlantic Gardens on four occasions and will be returning again. The apartments are clean and tidy and offer everything needed for a good self catering holiday. In July and August a lack of air conditioning might be a problem but in April and October (when we stay) it is not necessary.

The complex is made up of 168 apartments surrounded by gardens. The peaceful terraces attached to each apartment create an atmosphere of great tranquillity. Further facilities include a reception area, moneychanger, restaurant, cafe, bar, and a kids club. The establishment is 200 metres from a beach known locally as Waikiki. A new shopping centre named El Campanario has been built next to the complex.
Just 15 minutes walk away, guests can enjoy the marvellous natural dune landscape, which has been given special status as a Protected Natural Reserve. And just 10 minutes away is the centre of Corralejo with shops and a great variety of restaurants. Fuerteventura Airport is 35 km away. Apartments contain a bedroom with 2 single beds, 2 bedside tables, wardrobe, desk, bathroom, fully equipped kitchen with a microwave oven, fridge, stove and cooking utensils, a living area with a sofa-bed, a comfortable chair and a food cupboard and finally the terrace with table and chairs. The rooms also have satellite/cable TV and a safety deposit box. The complex boasts 3 swimming pools, 2 for adults and 1 for children.
There are also sun loungers and parasols, as well as tennis, table tennis, basketball and pool. The reception is not open 24 hours a day. Guests must pay a deposit of about EUR 60 upon arrival.

“ the hotel was ok ..... not too bad. But one of the main problems was that fact that i had two cockroaches in my room (both dead). The best part of the whole experience was the cleaners i thought they were excellent.

“ Basic but an OK place. Would go again. Only point is that I would have liked the swimming pools to be open earlier (say 07.00) instead of 10.00 and also open later than 18.00.

One criticism, the beds are very uncomfortable, there is a need to invest in some new decent quality mattresses. With a comfortable bed I would find no fault with Atlantic Gardens.
“ Top Tip: Bombay Masala (just off main square) serves the best curries you will ever taste. El Andaluz restaurant is excellent, it is very popular and therefore it pays to book a table. Los Pescaditos Bar (on seafront) is the best place for a friendly ice cold beer and a snack during the day
