Had a weeks stay at the Brisamar on an AI package. We thought the rooms were really nice, spacious, clean and well planned with enough plugs for everything.
The food was very good. We only managed to eat out once and that was only because it was our last night and we thought we should. To be picky the only thing we didn't like was the fruit juices.
Snacks and drinks at the pool bar were also good.Sangria, red wine and baileys surprisingly good all being served by very hard working staff.
Th only thing we didn't find inviting was the entertainment room. We never did see the entertainment as we couldn't stay in there long enough, but there's plenty of nice bars to go to anyway.
We had no complaints whatsoever and would certainly go back.
“ Top Tip: The BANANA BAR, has a sun terrace over looking the sea, very good prices and lovely views.

We had trouble getting hot water when the sun did not shine and in the morning for showers. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The hotel is perfectly situated for the short walk into town, although some of the apartments were up steep stairs and people with walking difficulties should ensure they ask for a room near the front of the hotel.
The hotel is now looking tired and is in need of an update.
“ Top Tip: Paddy's Bar is an excellent night out with great singers on most nights and the bar staff are really friendly. For food Rosie O Grady's and Di Napoli cannot be beaten for quality of food and price

“ We had 3 self catering apts. but could not self cater as we had nothing to self cater with. We had 2 electric rings, no cooker, no grill, no microwave, no toaster, we did not even have a kettle until I went to reception and asked for one. No information about the hotel and activities were given to us on our arrival. I requested a ground floor room on booking as I have difficulty walking upstairs, I was given an upstairs apartment and had to negotiate 16 stairs several times a day.
“ Top Tip: Fergies restaraunt just off the main street on the way to the beach. Brilliant breakfast for 4 euro's Our best evening meals were at El Toro Bravo , steaks to die for! and the staff were brilliant especially Lasan, made you feel very welcome. Try the best beach and sanddunes ever. Get a number 6 bus to the RIU hotels, the beach is ideal for kite flying for the kids and real camels down the far end.
