Me and my husband stayed here for our first aniversary in May 2012, The appartment was a studio where everything is in one room apart from the toilet, I would advise you get an appartment which is larger and more expensive but if I had had to stay their for two weeks I think I would have upgraded as the first week of most holidays you want to do everything away from your hotel then the second week you want to relax a bit more and spend maybe more time hanging around the place you are staying.
The front of the appartments were lovely and and the pool area I couldnt fault at all, unfortunatley we were at the back over looking a noisy street with little sunshine through the day. But we still had a good time. The maid service was good the towels were awful (Just not absorbant) please take your own. The room is clean the bathroom was good, the Balcony was good just not located in the best part of the establishment, we did ask to be moved but were told it was to busy yet it was never really busy what we saw. Theres a bar up from the pool which is nice with a little shop attached (lovely jewellery) I think this shuts a bit too early. La Luna bar restaurant (where the guests who were half board etc went) was very good and handy to have near we were self catering so cant comment on their meals in that department but what we did have separate was nice. Expect a bit of noise from other residents as the rooms are quite close together but you would expect this. It was great for the price so cant complain but May was a quiet time so if your going their to live it up at this time think again most places seemed to shut at 12.

Top Tip:
If your cat lover like us then when you leave the hotel turn right walk along the front their is a family of cats living on the rocks they are lovely and quite happy and fed everyday to.
The Bars along the sea front are very nice Agua is a lovely spanish cocktail bar please make the time to pop in.
Dolce vita is a beautiful Italians that do the best Lasagne ive every had. Across from that is a bar called seven pints and they do amazing cocktails especially pina coladas and pink orgasms.
On the main street is the bakery (i think its called white sign) does lovely cupcakes and cappuccinos.
Please please get the ferry to playa blanca it is beautiful and had a fab day its very tireing but worth it.
Our transfer took to our appartment took a while so be prepared for for an extra hour and a half depending on pick ups take water and a magazine.
Dont buy cigs at the airport they are cheaper in Harrys electronics on the main st really nice spanish guy in their most helpful.
The sand dunes arent that amazing so unless you love sand and beaches with a passion I wouldnt be that bothered.
Check out the markets one next to the water park friday and monday I think and theres another one at the top of the main street in the clock tower shoping centre.
If you want to boogy and get drunk and sing then go to the up to date music bar FLICKS at the Atlantic centre.
Saigon Lily Café is a great place for a breakfast in a newish shoping centre at the top of the main street.
Take a cardigan or shrug out if your their in May or if its windy as that wind can get a bit chilly at night.
