Bahia Calma Bungalows

“ had a wonderful peaceful and relaxing holiday, moved to 1st floor apart from bungalow on day1 after encountering cockroaches, however reception was very helpful regarding the matter, no questons asked. everywhere was clean, tho not cleaned as regular as promised. Mama Mia restaurant was 2mins away and provided excellent quality and quantity food. resort itself was mainly german and altho didnt encounter any other english holidaymaker during week long stay, it wasnt detrimental to enjoyment, beware of the breeze, it certainly masks the true intensity of the sun!! beach was 2mins away with plenty of sunbeds, I didnt encounter any nightlife other than couple of restaurants, tho must admit I wasny looking...all in all most enjoyable and yes i would return

“ Top Tip: toptip... lovely beach bar, and definately have steak bearnesa at mama mia,oh and use sufficient factor suncream!! :)

“ Just returned from a 2nd trip to the Bahia Calma it didn't let us down.Clean & friendly nothing is too much trouble.A couple of minutes from a beautiful sandy beach and a couple of minutes from the well stocked supermarket.A predominantly german hotel byut that adds to its qualities.Would hope to return again next year.

“ Just returned from a 2nd trip to these very neat apartments.A mainly German complex but I think that makes them of a better standard.A lovely sun terrave with pool and just a couple of minutes to the lovely wide and beautiful beach at Costa Calma..Would we come back, already checking prices for next year.

“ Top Tip: A visit to Oasis Park is a must.The Spar supermarket is just a short stroll way and stock all the essentials, opposite is the Mama Mia's resturant with a very good selection of courses ( watch out for the frozen desserts)

“ Not a hotel - sc accommodation, but that said, a friendly maid appeared every morning to clean, make beds and change towels. Less than 5 mins. down to lovely beach complete with cafe. Beach extends for 17 miles (yes) of golden sand along coast and about 400 yards wide - doesn't get crowded! Wind and kite surfing: fun to watch if you don't do it. Not much entertainment in local area, you need a car, though there are buses. But for a quiet relaxing holiday it is ideal.

“ Top Tip: Golden beach for miles and miles. German bakery (across form pool) with cakes to die for.About same to local SPAR supermarket with all essentials and selection of usual holiday shops. Couple of average restaurants across from SPAR. 5 mins the other way by pleasant pool is a real German bakery and several better restaurants catering for German tourists.
