From arrival to departure everything was easy and the staff seemed genuinely happy to help. The view of the beach from some 'beach view rooms' is not the greatest, as you can see it but your not exactly overlooking it. This was no problem though as most of your time will be spent outside of your room, so if you save some pennies in your 'no sea view' deal then your not missing much as the beach is close enough to actually visit, as the Hotel is situated very well.
We found that it was nice to sit in the conservatory down by the beach when we wanted to relax in the shade, or get some sun loungers early in the day to beat the rush if there is one. The pools are very clean and never very full, and perhaps a little cold for some people, although I found them perfect for cooling down and a comfortable temperature. If you have trouble getting in and out of a pool then there is a gradual slope on one of the pools for easier access, so just ask one of the staff to show you it.
The food was very nice and we thoroughly enjoyed meal time and found it hard to not over consume, although you can get quite full on a good healthy selection of foods and so reach a compromise with your appetite. The selection is reasonable and we found no faults, and would prob say its definitely one of the better all-inc restaurants.
Note: If you arrive late at the hotel then they will prepare a small plate of food in the dining room for you, but its not the best selection and is no reflection of the quality of the food overall, so its best to arrive with a bit of a packed lunch or eat well during your journey as meal time ends at 9pm
The sea is cool and clear, with a very graduating depth, especially when the tide is out, and so you can go out quite far if you are a less confident swimmer and there is plenty of room for everyone.
Enjoy your stay as it was incredibly easy and relaxing
“ Top Tip: Its very relaxed on Fuerteventure and near the hotel are some lovely walks, primarily the beach or the front of the hotels where the path runs through palm trees and a sort of green/garden pathway.

The Sunrise Costa Calma Beach Resort Hotel immediately struck us as a very well run Hotel. The staff appeared to be well trained and were polite and helpful, particularly on the reception desk.
The restaurant was excellent with a wide range of dishes to suit most tastes. Rooms were comfortable and cleaned to a high standard.
This was our first visit and we hope to go again.

Hotel was very clean, well designed with plenty of areas both inside and outside to relax. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful and professional. The food was of a high standard with a huge amount of variety. The All Inclusive option ran throughout the day and was very good value. There were extras offered such as renting pool towels for 1 euro a day, a safe in the room and access to the internet.
The bars closed around 11.00 pm and everyone seemed to settle down for the night which meant a good nights sleep.
The atmosphere was very relaxed during the day and there was plenty of room and loungers available. It also felt very safe and we left our bags by the loungers without any concern.
“ Top Tip: Not a great deal to do outside of the hotel but as we were on a short break we felt there was no need to venture out as the hotel offered everything we required ie., plenty of R and R.

Well, hotel itself wasn't too bad. Clean rooms, corridors etc., often maids visits during your stay and really cool stuff to be found on beds and in bathrooms. Rooms could have been equiped better, but that's not a negative side if you look for holidays in Fuerte, where you don't really stay in a room for too long:)
Hotel has it's own small beach, but it's quite ugly and bad, especially when water is low. Not a problem, just 15 minutes walk along the beach and you get to beautiful main beach in Costa Calma. Around 15 minutes walk is to the shopping centre and cool restaurant as well.
Food in the hotel was really good. You have everything you need during the stay. Breakfasts are the same all the time, but lunches and dinners are different more or less every day. And it's really tasty!
Animators are quite cool. Nothing unusual, but worth a look almost every night. The bad thing is that there is a "disco" after 11pm, but when we were there, people were just disappearing around 11pm. Probably in the summer there is more fun. We were quite tired in the night anyways;)
About the pools in the hotel. Three pools, a lot of sunbeds around, but still not many enough (even in march, where hotel was not even half full for sure). If you plan to stay at the hotel all day, it's better to sit at the pool even before the breakfast, because it's really hard to find couple of free sunbeds around noon.

Top Tip:
There is a great restaurant quite close to the hotel. It's called San Borondon and it's located on Calle Jahn Reisen, just before the shopping centre. Live music every night, good food and fantastic atmosphere.
It's worth to rent a car and do the trip around the island. Visit Ajuy with the amazing caves, Jandia beaches, dunes in Corralejo, and admire the views during the drive. Quite a few view spots on the way worth stopping.
I can recommend a quad-buggy expirience. Will not recommend the company we used because don't know if other are worse or better.
