Pluses: nice hotel, beautiful food, best buffet restaurant ever (I'm a foodie:-), great beach,wonderful island

The Elba Sara Fuerteventura is a 4 star hotel located in Antigua just 8km from Fuerteventura Airport. “ Room dated,bit tired -Bathroom broken tiles and rusty old bin Long and very steep hill to access hotel. Food not of good standard,more or less same every day.Very disappointing Food service area not well laid out resulting in long queues.

The Sunrise Costa Calma Beach Resort is situated in a quiet area of Costa Calma in the south of Fuerteventura, just steps from Sotavento beach, one of the best beaches in all Canary Islands. Featuring a relaxed atmosphere, this is a terrific property for couples and families seeking to get away from it all with 556 comfortable guestrooms and apartments well equipped with modern amenities and close to a host of activities. The town is within 400 m of the complex with a wide selection of bars, restaurants, cafes, shops and banks. Fuerteventura Airport is 75 km from the Resort. Local Tips: Costa Calma is a super holiday destination with some of the best beaches in the Canary Islands, friendly hospitality from local residents and spectacular golf courses.
“ Went to this hotel on 22nd Dec 2011 returned 1st Jan 2012 all inclusive, Christmas and New Year in the sun what more could you ask for. Myself, my Husband, my 8 year old daughter and my retired parents had a lovely relaxing break in the sun with no stress, no christmas shopping, no cooking and no cleaning, Heaven just plenty of Sun, rest and relaxation.

Renovated in 2004, this hotel comprises a total of 163 rooms spread over 8 floors. There is a spacious lobby with a 24-hour reception, safe, currency exchange facilities and lift access. Hotel facilities include conference facilities, a hairdressing salon, a games room, a cafe, 2 bars and an air-conditioned a la carte restaurant with a separate non-smoking area and highchairs for infants. There are room and laundry services as well as medical assistance, parking facilities and a bicycle storage and hire facility.
“ pleasantly surprised by the spacious bedrooms and other facilities. the staff were absolutely excellent particularly cleaners as hotel was spotless. food was very good although choice sometimes a bit limited.
