Built in 1989 and renovated in the year 2000, the hotel offers a total of 286 rooms spread over 3 floors of which 273 are doubles and 13 are suites. Facilities include a lobby bar with a 24-hour reception, a bar, a TV room and an air-conditioned restaurant with non-smoking area. In addition, the hotel provides a kids' club and playground for younger guests. There is a laundry service available to round off the hotel's facilities.This hotel is situated directly on the fabulous sandy beach of Costa Calma and offers a relaxing atmosphere and surroundings with character.
There are various shopping centers with numerous shops, bars, cafes and restaurants in the surrounding area as well as gardens, where guests may enjoy a walk between the palms. The public transport network is easily reached on foot.The rooms comprise of an en suite bathroom, a hairdryer, direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, fridge, a hire safe and the option of either a balcony or terrace.Guests are offered use of the indoor pool, 3 pools (one heated pool), a snack bar, sun loungers, parasols, a sauna and a solarium. The hotel offers opportunities to participate in aerobics sessions, aqua aerobics sessions, a game of table tennis, beach volleyball, tennis, bocce, pool and snooker or pay a visit to the gym (some of which incur an additional fee).

“ Hotel staff were skilled and accompished although not overly friendly. Accomodation was adequate and comfortable. It was in need of updating and because of this we were offered upgraded accomodation. Food was good suffient and varried. It was excellant value for money. I have since reccomended it to friends. there was however one drawback, the evening entertainment,it was almost non exhistant.
“ Top Tip: A small town some ten miles north of Costa Calma is Gran Taragel.Its slightly commercial and is nice mix of West African and Spanish.

“ Lovely hotel for a 3*. Very clean, friendly staff and quite acceptable foods. Entertainment team very good too.
“ Top Tip: African market on Wed and Sat, be prepared to haggle. Offer a third of their asking price and you will usually get it for half!

This hotel is very good, although 3 star rating, could be 4 star.
Staff excellent.
Position right on the fabulous beach, 2 minutes walk away.
Rooms were above average and nicely done out.
Bar staff a lot of fun, drinks fantastic.
We went in February and found the entertainment below par, but I'm sure in the season it's good. They still had games around the pool and on the beach, so lots to entertain you during the day.
Food excellent.
We are returning in October !!!

“ Top Tip: Because this hotel is part of a chain, you can go into the other hotel's and use the pool and get drinks. Nice for a change. We did and found the same level of service.

“ I read so many reviews before going and they were pretty mixed. Anyways, we absolutely loved the hotel...the location was fantastic...the apartment we booked was superb. There was a lot of choice in food....the staff were friendly and the service excellent! The animation team was perfect especially mini club for the children...a great value hotel..I would very happily reccommend it!
“ Top Tip: Book the apartment and go all inclusive..its worth it!
