We looked at all the 5* and 4* Hotels in and around the Jandis area; but the few reviews this Hotel had were well written and seemed sensible, so we took a gamble.
We could not have been more delighted; the sea view room we paid extra for was very spacious and well equipped. Nice beds (we had twin) bedding changed three times in our 14 night stay. Very clean and rooms cleaned every day.
We stayed bb but eat on quite a few nights in the hotel, food very good, restauraunt staff excelent. Full of Germans which all of Jandia is but all very nice and freindly; we wre all trying to learn from each others language in the end.
We couldent fault the Hotel, and will not bother looking any where else next time, trust me you will not be disapointed, you will be delighted.

Top Tip: Book the sea view for extra £15 per week!
When going to beach turn left out of hotel doors, cut through the plazza to the zebra crossing, left again until you see the electric bike shop, turn right to the beach (easy pace walk 7min; brisk 4min) dot go to the right out of hotel to beach, heading for Maro Jablo village as really rough hidden rocks in sea, my middle toe can swear to it!!

The hotel was not bad. The good points were the pool - decent size, not overcrowded, really clean (cleaned every morning), the restaurant was clean and food good quality. The kids loved the pool and enjoyedthe food. The apartment was basic but clean and being on the 8th floor we had a really nice view of the coast. All in all it was a nice holiday. Generally the hotel is decent and good value for money

Top Tip: We recommend going half board because the restauarants are about a 10 minute walk, they can get packed and are not cheap. The 'cosmo' shopping centre opposite has a nice cafe in the basement level that is decorated orange (can't remember the name' an they sell lovely smoothies and sandwiches etc.

Receptionist very friendly and helpful. Apartment in ideal location, only approx 12 mins walk to morro jabble along a lovely promenade and close to many restaurants and a few bars. Beach only a few mins walk.
For a 2 star apartment this is excellent. Seperate bedrooms - overall very spacious accomodation. We paid 15 pound extra (total week price) for a sea view and it was well worth it.
There is no snack bar facility-only a buffet for all inclusive but then there are plenty of places nearby (plus of course own cooking facilities). Would definitely recommend this as a value for money hotel.

Top Tip: La Sirena one of the good restaurants nearby, plus local beach below promenade (lovely sand dune and views). You can walk along beach, past lighthouse on the left, past Jandia to other lovely spots.

This Hotel is basic, clean and close to the beach. I was reading all the reviews about this hotel on different sites and was amazed how people tend to exaggerate. I`m telling you : if you wanna have a week off in Jandia, take this hotel, it`s value for money and location. The hotel restaurant is very cheap ( 16 euros/ 2 persons ). Breakfast was great ( it`s like swiss continental breakfast ). Services in the hotel are good( internet access is expensive 1 euro/12minutes- you`re in holiday for sun&fun not for internet). Hot& cold water 24/7. Tv was working but few german channels. There is a pool at 4th floor - that was wicked indeed( for late evening swim sessions) .Our apartment was at the last floor with sea view and was really cool. Room services was very funny and very polite. The hotel manager was very helpful and behaved and even discuss with us few things about Jandia and surrounding areas.
Above all , Alameda de Jandia Hotel is really good.
Just up the road there is RIU Palace and had few friends there ... they said it`s too expensive and the staff was really rude ... all these 2** hotels are really good. Book it !

Top Tip: Jandia - a great area of Fuerteventura Island . Best beaches and clear water. Weather was great. few good restaurants there ( La Salina, Tequila ). There is a club right in front of the hotel. The area is full germans( thought we`re Berlin)...and everyone is greeting you by saying "hallo" or "ola". This is my 1st ever resort where i`ve not seen drunk people on streets. Well done to local Police and spanish gov! If you really like sun, water sports , peace then get to Jandia.... you`ll never forget it. ! Ever!

If something goes wrong , do not accuse Travel Republic( they might don`t know the island and all the facts). We`ve had an emergency landing in Bordeaux due to BMI`s plane front windscreen cracks and can`t complain about TravelRepublic. Keep up Travel Republic! We`ll be back to you !

The views from our room were lovely it appears that the hotel is being modernized, even though our room was very high up it was easy to access using the lifts. The bedroom was very dark, tiny and claustrophobic and air conditioning not available.

Top Tip: The beautiful sandy beach is within easy walking distance 5mins
