Riu Palace Jandia Hotel

“ A typical Rui Hotel - well run,high standard of cleanliness and a friendly and willing staff. Bedroom was excellent - large and airy, with cheerful and conscientious maids who were always helpful.Food the usual very good Rui standard, breakfasts great. Didn't find any great restaurants nearby - perhaps someone else has? Would go there again. As well as the many steps to the beach there is also a lift which helps. Superb beach which goes on and on!

“ We stayed at the Riu Palace for the second part of our holiday, having spent the first week in Corralejo. We stayed here a couple of years ago and decided to return as the price was really good. The hotel overlooks the beach, there are lots of steps in this hotel, plus glass lifts (great idea), however, you still need to go down steps to access the beach which goes on for miles. We booked a sea view room, we requested a room overlooking the pool and that's we were given, room 208, top marks to the reception staff for acting upon our e-mail. We were welcomed with a handshake and a glass of Champagne. Our room was large with a sitting area and had been prepared to a high standard, bows on the bed, towels made into swans and elephands, bows on the tissues, all those little extra touches make a difference. The standard of cleanliness is excellent, no skimping on time in the rooms, they are checked daily by the 'bedroom inspector', I'm sure that's not her official title! Plenty of plug sockets in the bedroom, a separate dressing area (fantastic idea), huge bath (even better). The air conditioning can be indivually controlled 24/7, perfect. The balconies are also large with chairs/loungers.
You are allocated your own table for dinner, either 6pm-8pm or 8pm to 10pm. As you would expect the selection of food is vast, all cooked to a high standard. As an alternative to the hot/cold buffet you can select meals from a separate menu and have them served to your table at no additional cost. The waiters are efficient and professional. The manager 'tours' the restaurant every evening to speak with guests to ensure that everything is fine.
A band which plays music performs everying evening 7.30pm until 11pm, just easy listening music, you can even dance should the holiday mood take you! The waiter service by the pool is excellent and the Champagne cocktails are just heaven.
We thought the service and food had improved since we visited a couple of years ago.
There are very few Englist guests at this hotel but don't let that deter you, the staff make this hotel and they do everything they can to make your stay extremely enjoyable and the customer service is excellent. If you want to stay in a lovely hotel on the beach and just relax give this hotel a try, you won't be disappointed.

“ Top Tip: Take a short stroll along the promenade outside the hotel, this leads to Morro Jable, about a 10 minute walk. It's a lovely little town with a selection of traditional bars and restaurants.

“ The hotel was wonderful, staff brilliant, very nice touch with free drinks around the pool. Food was out of this world. Loved every minute of my holiday.

“ Top Tip: The shops in town were to die for and so was the beach.
