“ The hotel was much better than we had imagined, so roomy and comfortable and set in beautiful grounds.It was quiet and we felt as though we had personal service all the time.However the description was Girona centre and it was quite remote and no where near Girona so we would not have been able to get there without a car.After looking briefly at Girona and its parking nightmare we were pleased that we were not in the centre!
“ Top Tip: We like interesting old towns and Macanet de Cabrenys was a wonderful place to wander around.Nearest beach was quite a distance, Cadaques, but worth the journey there.
