Really nice boutique style Hotel in an ideal central location in Girona.Ten minute walk from Train/bus station.Room very nice and comfortable.Swift check in and found staff helpful.Did not go have breakfast (11 euro) but enjoyed a nice meal in the evening.Curiously the cost of most of the main meals was lower than breakfast.
Girona was lovely, and I would have no hesitation in returning to the Ciutat Hotel.
“ Top Tip: Close to square with numerous restaurants/bars, short walk to bridge to take you to old town.Enjoyed the Trattatoria Restaurant next street from the Hotel.

“ Excellent hotel and break...great location, very central. Hotel clean and tidy and very attentive. City/town has a lovely atmosphere in the old part. Food in town great- some lovely tapas bars. Lots of shopping opportunities. All in all a great place to go away to. ( Lovely patisserie around the corner from the hotel)
“ Top Tip: Loved the food and cider at the Zanpanzar bar in court reial. Also great Pizzeria on next street down to square from hotel.

“ The hotel was low cost and in general represented good value for money for the price paid. The good things about the hotel were friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere and the decor although old and suffering from wear and tear summoned up a sense of post-war spacious elegance, particularly the staircase.

“ This hotel was the best one of my trip, the staff were really friendly, spoke excellent English (embarrassingly my Spanish isn’t so good), great location, we were able to check in as soon as we got there which was 11.

“ I picked this hotel because it has a pool which made it worth the 15/20 minute walk into town (which we did twice a day for 4 days). The walk is flat and you get views of the river and cathedral on the way so its not that bad plus you arrive at the right end of town for all of the attractions.
