The hotel was built in 1990 and renovated in 2002. It has 9 floors with a total of 195 rooms. There is a lobby with a 24 hour reception, 5 lifts (1 panoramic), and the Bar Mirador open in the evenings with live piano music four times a week.
“ Absolutely Fab hotel, the wellness centre in the basement of the hotel is amazing. My friend and I used it every day after we had sunbathed. This is my third visit to the Dorado Beach hotel, I would definately recommend it to anyone and I will definately be going again. Excellent, couldn't fault it!!!

Villa Del Mar Apartments

The Villa del Mar apartments are situated in a quiet area near Patalavaca. There is an outdoor swimming pool with views of the beach just 400 metres away. The bright apartments have basic amenities with the option of satellite TV and Wi-Fi internet access. All 2-bedroom apartments have a terrace. The poolside restaurant serves drinks and food on the large terrace. Guests can also walk into Patalavaca town to sample local restaurants. Villa del Mar offers hairdressing, beauty treatments and massages on site. There are also golf courses 9 km away in Salobre and Anfi Tauro.
“ We arrived early hours of the morning and was greated by a warm and friendly person. Shown to our room, and told to check in the morning at our leasure. We even got a few supplies from the on site store and told to pay in the morning. The room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. We are looking forward to going back there again.

This 9-storey apartment complex comprises 232 tasteful, spacious apartments. Facilities include a restaurant and a bar . Individual safety boxes are available to deposit money and valuables in the reception of the aparthotel. 24 hour service as well as A self-service laundry at your disposal. car park for those arriving by car
“ We would have no problem recommending this hotel to family and friends.We found the staff to be friendly and helpful at all times.The hotel has clean comfortable rooms with great views,a good pool with plenty of new sun loungers,and the facilities were well looked after.We would definitely visit this hotel again

The complex comprises a total of 273 apartments, set in a main building and various 2-storey annexe buildings, with a lobby area with shared 24-hour reception situated in the main building. Access to the resort is restricted by a barrier at the main road entrance.
“ These apartments may be a little past their heyday but they are clean, functional and conveniently located to the towns of Anfi, Patalavaca within walking distance and for a short, inexpensive taxi journey, Arguineguin and Puerto Rico too.

This apartment hotel is located in the area of Patalavaca with excellent views over the sea. Supermarkets, pubs, restaurants and bars are in the immediate vicinity, the beach can be reached within 2 minutes walking. The bus stops for Las Palmas and Puerto Rico are 100 m away, Puerto Rico is within a short stroll. The airport is at a distance of about 40 km. The hotel features internet access, business centre, bar, outdoor pool, medical assistance, bicycle rental and airport shuttle.
“ The room was clean and tidy with most days having a cleaning service. We didn't use the cafe/restaurant but many people did, though it was rather Scandinavian dominated (as is most of this part of Gran Canaria) with special menus and evening entertainment to suit.

Built in 2001, this simple villa complex comprises a total of 10 villas spread over 2 floors. Guests arriving by car may make use of the complex's car park. Each villa has its own private swimming pool and spacious sunbathing area furnished with patio furniture, sun loungers and a parasol. A BBQ is also provided so that guests can enjoy al-fresco dining.

Los Marinos is a small apartment complex with a patio where you find flowers and canary birds, reception with limited opening hours. No elevator. On the first floor there is a supermarket and a restaurant (not belonging to the hotel). Rooftop terrace with sun beds. Basic apartments equipped with sofa bed as extra bed, kitchenette with basic equipment. dining area, bathroom/shower. TV (extra charge).
