This historical hotel has been totally renovated and now features a total of 40 guest rooms and suites spread across 4 storeys. The Auditorio Alfredo Kraus, the exhibition site and the centre of town can be reached in just 10 minutes by car. Las Canteras beach is approximately 12 km away.

Beautiful, peaceful hotel! Quiet when we visited, July 3rd, as a lot of their guests seem to be there for conferences or with relevance to the hotel training school attached to the hotel. The students were all on placements during our visit but the school is seperate to the hotel anyway.
This resulted in an upgrade from a very very pleasant receptionist!

High quality hotel; very friendly service; mostly Spanish guests; about 20 minutes drive to Las Palmas
Two drawbacks - quite a busy road below the hotel; and parking only in surrounding streets.

“ We stayed for 3 nights and found the hotel excellent. The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent, not a buffet but real table service. It is clean and quiet and although parking out front is very difficult you can find spaces in the road behind and then enter by the rear door. Across the road is very good restaurant and there are others close by. The bus stop to town is only a few minutes away and the buses are about every 20 minutes and very cheap. It takes about 25 minutes to reach Las Palmas. From the hotel you can easily visit the rest of the island by car. The pool is not heated so can be cold and there is no daily bar open which for me stops me giving it the full 4 stars. However wine and drinks bought at the table were not expensive. If you don't need to be in the capital which is very busy and noisey then this is a place to stay. We would certainly go again. I would add that we can speak Spanish which is always a help and can open up more opportunities than normal.
“ Top Tip: The bar across the road was well worth a visit and not expensive.
