Serenity Apartments

“ The apartments are positioned at the top of a hill so they are suitable for anyone who is a good walker, however there is an excellent taxi service at the bottom near the beach and restaurants. The beach is fabulous for sun bathers and the best restaurant we found was Monaco...the food was excellent, good value and great customer service!
These apartments would suit anyone who is looking for a quiet holiday as there is no bar or childrens activities other than the pool. All apartments are well furnished have a fabulous view and a very large well furnished balcony.
There is a well stocked shop on site and the two ladies who manage reception etc
are very helpful.

“ Top Tip: Enjoyed the ferry trips to Mogan and Aginegean - Cafe just by ferry do great ice cold beers, sardines, salads and fresh fish.

“ This is a wonderful place to stay for people looking to relax and unwind. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the whole ethos of the place is laid back and tranquil. It's on a fairly steep hill so whilst this means wonderful views it's probably best if you don't mind a bit of exercise as walking up and down the hill will certainly give you a work out. The apartments are tasteful, clean and spacious and deserving of a three star rating.

“ Key features of these apartments are their overall size and their terraces, which are very private and massive! Great pool and views of the beach below. Useful little minimarket on site with fresh bread and croissants every day, and even a little gym if needed.

Well equipped kitchen and double vanity in bathrooms.
Negatives - staff could have been more helpful at times...made you wait sometimes rather than putting you first..
None of the apartments have double beds..only single beds shoved together, and the mattresses are quite hard. I stupidly took the dusty spare bed cover and pillow from the wardrobe and slept on top of it, but now seem to have bed bug bites on my back!

A shame as the apartments were lovely on the whole..

“ Top Tip: It is only a 15 min walk up the road to the Europa Shopping Centre where there are plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from as an alternative to Amadores beach.

“ A quiet location on the hill above Amadores beach. Perfect as a place to relax and enjoy a lazy holiday. Amadores is a much quieter resort than most of the others on Gran Canaria.

“ Top Tip: There are around a dozen restaurants right at the back of the beach at Amadores. They are all keen for your business and will attempt to engage your attention as you try to walk along and look for yourself. We persevered and chose the last but one restaurant named Monaco and are very glad that we did. The food was really good and the attention and service was friendly and very efficient. The complimentary drinks following our meal were a lovely gesture (and boy do they know how to pour generous measures of Baileys and spirits).

We spent most of our days around the pool of the hotel and walked down to eat at night (although we got a taxi back - at 3 Euros it saved a very steep climb).

We did one trip, the panoramic tour of the island (last minute tours) and were very glad that we did as we saw a lot of the island and couldn't believe the contrast in climates and vegetation. Highly recommended
