“ A great hotel with excellent service 1.3 miles to the town centre The breakfast in the hotel is excellent(never needed lunch) although at times there is a queue for the coffee machines (just ask a waiter for a pot of tea first and get a coffee later) All the Staff are friendly and very helpful. If you do not fancy the walk to las canteras beach the hotel has a free bus that goes at 11am and back at 5pm we walked and explored, the hotel will give you a free street map. We will definitely return to this hotel.

Top Tip:
For restaurants we found excellent steak/grill down at the marina(out of the hotel across the road and down the under pass 3 min walk) Puerto Grill best steak ever! 15 euros.
Las Palmas can be more cloudy and we drove 25 mins south to San Augustin on a couple of days which was cloud free. Although Las Palmas and Las Canteras beach is a far nicer area than the south.

An excellent hotel with most of the features of a 5 star hotel.
The breakfast dining room was very pleasant, although the temperature was too low and kept that way despite some residents complaints. The single coffee machine was totally inadequate for the number of guests and staff were either surly as to serving coffee or badly trained.
The hotel facilities were excellent.
“ Top Tip: The local service buses were frequent and very easy to use. Fares were cheap and we found it very convenient.

“ A friendly, very traditional hotel with good level of service. Probably a bit too quiet for many younger people but ideal for families, older guests, and anybody looking for a quiet, relaxing time. The restaurant food is average but there are good places to eat nearby.
“ Top Tip: Pier 19 bar and restaurant is a 5 min walk away. Good service, excellent food (especially the fish), and reasonably priced.

“ confortable rooms, clean and with a very good breakfast buffet. However, the main restaurant did not offered a big variety of healthy, light dishes. They did not known how to make a nice tea. This restaurant is more suitable for Spanish corporate guests.
“ Top Tip: yes a very good Peruvian restaurant, El segundo del muelle, fish and seafood specialities.
