“ The whole complex is very well kept. Rooms are being updated on a regular basis. Maid service was very good. We spotted a baby hedgehog in front of our patio.Long walk to beach but a free bus runs daily from the front of the complex. We will certainly stay here again. The 24 hour shop has only basics, no large containers of water. fresh bread daily though.

“ Top Tip: Faro 2 is stuggling at the moment with no shops left and only three or four resturants and one supermarket. One resturant (Broncamar) closed while we were there. This only leaves El Nublo on the inner circle. El Nublo is the best place to eat Danni and Marco need your support. They will spoil you with freebies and the very best food available on the island.The landlords should make their mind up and refurb this CC.

“ Very pleased, second time at these bungalows, they are a little old but kept very clean and looked after well. The staff are helpful, the only small point is that the safe rental is expensive compared with other places we have stayed, other than that, like it and would go again. Quiet complex.

“ Top Tip: Best resturant near by at Faro 2 is El Nublo steak house. Excellent food, and steaks at good prices, friendly family run restaurant, all welcome.

“ Brilliant relaxing complex of blocks of four bungalows. Quite deceptive in size plenty of room double and single bed in bedroom. No microwave only two rings in kitchen. New kettle and toaster. Cleaned 5 days a week new towels every other day. Cleaning staff thorough and pleasant. Very good reception staff open 24 x 7. Would recommend this complex for a quiet relaxing holiday but remember all the locals arrive Friday night until Sunday from out of the area.

“ Top Tip: If you want good entertainment go to the front all the hotels allow you in at night as long as you buy a drink.

“ A very well designed set of apartments which result in you not being overlooked at all by your neighbours. If you ask for a quiet one, you can use your sun beds at the apartment and not be passed by anyone all day. Excellent maid service with towels being changed three times per week. The sun beds at the pool(s) were never fully utilised (perhaps because of there also bring sun beds at the apartment). Mini market was a bit pricy but was also very useful. It and reception were open 24 hours. An excellent place to stay for a cheap, quiet holiday.

“ Top Tip: Try the Grand Italia restaurant along the front past the lighthouse. Absolutely excellent. Also seek out the local park in the other direction from the apartments near Sonnerland. Very quiet, peaceful and interesting. The Botanic Gardens are well worth a look. You can use the 66 'Global' bus company service from/to the airport which runs hourly 7 days/week. Very reliable and very cheap (only 4 euros 5 cents for a single journey) compared to around 50 euros for a taxi !
