“ This was the 8th time of staying there and we have to say that the hotel seems to have upped their game even from the last time, which by the way was fine - everything was was as we expected and we had a great time.
“ Top Tip: Take plenty of money for the ladies to spend in the jewellery shops

The hotel is run very efficiently. Meal times can be a little hectic in the restaurants as there are so many people but once you realize this and slow yourself down it is ok. The food choice is excellent.
The pool and surroundings are the best on the island- the palms and foliage are very mature- lots of shade which will be good in the summer months but people tend to put their sun lounges everywhere to get some direct sun- doesn't look the greatest.
Outside there are great restaurant choices for alternative meals. Short walk to the beach.
“
Top Tip:
Grand Italia restaurant outside the hotel on the front- very busy but great food.
In fact all offer great choices. Argentinian beef restaurant the best in Playa de Ingles - small block of restaurants and does not look like it will be as good as it is- very very popular- half way between Yumbo Centre and Rui Palace Hotel on the left walking towards Rui Palace and the beach.

I'll definately return - it is the perfect place to hideaway and enjoy the sunshine.
It's a big hotel so don't expect staff to know your name, but they are courteous, generally efficient and also have a sense of humour. Only one individual was didn't behave as well as expected.
We got a great deal through Travel Republic so added a 3 half-day spa pass and got access to the Corralium Spa and (best of all) its private pools area. Worth the £80 or so to have the place more or less to ourselves! The main pools are also fab but there was building work underway which we had been informed about and I suspect that spoiled some people's holiday. The hotel should have informed guests.
“
Top Tip:
In the evening, guests dress smartly and settle for drinks in the terraced area. A bottle of cava is £15 or so - an ideal way to start the evening.
Nearby restaurant on Promenade de Faro serve genuinely good food with some tasty wines - open until about midnight. Pop across the road to the sister hotel for drinks in a spectacular African-themed setting.
A taxi into the centre of Playa de Ingles costs about £4.
Call the hotel ahead of arrival and ask if you can be located near to reception - some of the rooms are a long, long walk (one guest timed her walk from bedroom to foyer as 7 minutes!).
