Cordial Mogan Playa Hotel

“ Stayed in this beautiful hotel for a week, lovely rooms excellent facilities and the surrounding village is attractive and safe. Plenty to do expecially if you are into exercise of almost any type. Driving is a bit challenging as the roads are really really twisty but we had an excellent day out exploring the island. Food good plenty of choice and a real variety from day to day unlike some buffet style services. Amazingly the few young children were really well behaved, not many teenagers and I imagine it would not be ideal for them.

“ Top Tip: Village is an easy walk from the hotel with Spar and Lidl coming (Feb16th!), nice intersting shops and a huge market on a Friday
Almost all the bars in town were great with fresh food and variable value
Took a boat ride down the coast which was most amusing

“ Puerto Mogan is a peaceful haven unspoilt and very attractive. Don't go there if you are looking for nightclubs discos and junk food! Do go there if you are seeking a relaxing quiet vacation. The hotel is of a high standard. The check in service was excellent and immediately my wife and I felt valued clients. The description hardly does it justice. The rooms are spacious and quiet. There was a wide selection of food and although we stayed for 10 nights we never became bored with the choice of food. All facilities were well maintained. The evening entertainment was to a high standard with a different act every evening of the week (it recycles every 7 days).

“ Very impressed with this hotel. Friendly, informative staff on arrival and a welcome drink. Rooms are clean, not the greatest decor but ok. Lovely grounds full of plants and trees. 2 large pools, the one near reception is quieter as the keep fit activities are done at the other one. Food is good, varied and plentiful with efficient, friendly staff. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

“ Really excellent well-maintained hotel with beautiful complex and gardens. Emphasis on customer service obviously comes from the top; staff clearly enjoy their work and are all as friendly and helpful as anywhere we have been. Two small things are indicative: 5 litre bottles of water at €1 (that can be kept in room minibar) and a €15 discount in the superb Los Guayres a-la-carte restaurant for those on half-board.
Breakfast and lunch buffets are amazing; if the (OK) "cooked to order" meat and fish service had matched the rest of the dinner buffet, I might have given it a 10.
Drinks etc. are at hotel prices but not at all unreasonable.

“ Top Tip: The Cofradia de Pescadores on the far side of the harbour is an excellent and authentic restaurant with fish straight off the boats.
Puerto de Mogan itself is an attractive little town with much more character than most of the nearby resorts (although we enjoyed an afternoon in Anfi).
