Located in the Puerto de Mogan, a fishermen area known as little Venice, this 4 star modern hotel is only few metres from the beach and from the colourful fishing quay and the marina, all surrounded by the beautiful and exuberant Mogan Valley. The Cordial Mogan Playa Hotel is a unique combination of a luxury vocational resort with an authentic Spanish atmosphere in a peaceful and beautiful surrounding. There isn't a feeling of being in a large resort - the original architecture which includes a chapel speaks for itself. This luxury hotel is mostly for couples and families that want to relax and enjoy peaceful holidays away from the crowd. The distance from the Gran Canaria International Airport is approximately 40 miles, or in other words 70 minutes.

“ The hotel staff really go out of their way to make you feel welcome and want you to enjoy your stay at the hotel. If there are any issues that you have they will do their upmost to resolve it to your satisfaction. The hotel grounds are beautiful and very well kept. The standard of cleanliness is very high. We did find that the room we stayed in seemed to have been well used as it could have done with a bit of maintenance as in the side of the bath was a little rusty in places and the hairdryer was an old style and the shower head was nearly broken but it did the job. These are only minor issues we had and should not distract from the fact that this hotel is a very well run hotel and would thoroughly recommend a visit to anyone.
“ Top Tip: Market day is Friday in the port and surrounding harbour and is well worth a visit.

“ From the minute we arrived the staff did everything they could to make our stay superb. The hotel was lovely, very clean and tidy, gardens were tremendous and beautifully maintained, pools were spotless with no shortage of loungers. Mealtimes were very well organised, even though the hotel was very busy, it didn't seem to be overcrowded and staff were very attentive. Food was exceptional and so much variety. We were spoiled for choice. Drinks were quite pricey and it would have been nice to have complimentary tea/coffee in the rooms. All in all, it is very easy to recommend this hotel.
“ Top Tip: If you like walking, the mountain opposite the hotel offers a reasonable workout but stunning views. Well worth the effort.

A really lovely hotel. Staff were welcoming. Facilities excellent.
However, this was our second visit to this hotel and it appears that the standard of food was not what it should be for a 4 star hotel.
Very often hot food was lukewarm and under or over cooked, which is very disappointing as almost everything else at the hotel was of a high standard.
I say 'almost' because the entertainment was a mix of ok to awful at times!
“ Top Tip: Walk round the port of Mogan, it's lovely and interesting, as is the giant market on Fridays.

“ It's the second time we stayed there and it is a very well maintained hotel. We intend to return which sums up how pleased we are with it.
“ Top Tip: Lots of nearby restaurants and bars if you want to escape from the hotel for a while.
