Guinea Apartments

“ Security non-existent in this place- rarely somebody on reception desk, when i arrived reception was closed and a note was on the wall saying my keys were in the door of my room. The main entrance to the hotel was always left open even if nobody on reception, but couldnt even be locked anyway as there was just a hole in the door where the lock should have been! And to top it all off, i was mugged one nite round the corner from the hotel, the area is very near the kasbah and lots of dodgy characters about including prostitutes. The man on reception would not even let me use the hotel phone even though i was in tears the next day, nor would he let me use the internet (apparently they had no internet yet i seen him on in several times during my stay). Appartment was actually laid out nice, the cleaners were very friendly and great at their job. However, would never go back to this hotel.

“ We recently returned and had a great time. We are a mid 30’s couple and like good choice of restaurants and bars and the freedom to be able to eat in as well. The apartment was very spacious and the Kitchen had basic equipment of Hobb and microwave and a fridge which was ample. You have a maid service twice a week and clean towels provided. The Guinea Apartments are in a great location to the beach. The resort of Playa de Ingles is located on a hill so do come prepared with this in mind however it was not a problem. To get to the beach is easy as there steps down and If you don’t like the steps down you can take the slope or road behind the hotel although maybe a challenge if you have a wheelchair (s) /buggy(s) as slightly steep. The hotel itself does have a lift which does help if unable to manage steps in the apartment as the complex is quite large.
Restaurants and bars and were within a 2 mins walk and supermarkets are close by too. The pool area also has a little bar with the cheapest and best beer but does close after 4pm but an abundance of bars nearby in the Kasbah. You will enjoy your stay here.

“ Top Tip: The pool area also has a little bar with the cheapest and best beer but does close after 4pm but to have a look at the centre commercial just around the corner of the hotel as at the back Nr Hippo supermarket is the best steak house 'El Gaucho'. it is about £40 inc beer and wine for 2 and great evening enterainment is you enjoy bit of Cuban/ Spanish atmosphere- great and unexpectant laugh.
