“ The Liberty apartments are a well run establishment under the personal supervision of a friendly and efficient manager which exceptional customer care skills. The apartments are very clean and in good order we were accommodated in room 312 on the third floor the chamber person who cleaned our apartment provided a service above average and is a credit to the operation.

“ It was fine xcept for the fact that that was no hot water! You had to run the shower or taps for 15 mins or more and then it sometimes got hot. Also the shower itself was awful, it was not a proper shower -head and the water spewed out in a great heavy burst instead of fine needles or any sort of spray, also the shower -head could barely hand on the wall! The floor was constantly soaked because the perspex cover of the shower cublcle was totally inadequate for the job.
“ Top Tip: Great for the Yumbo centre and Tango tapas-the best tapas restaurant in Gran Canaria!

The only negative was that wifi was not available in the rooms and lack of tv channels but this is being addressed in May 2013.

Red Cow cafe/bar for a traditional Sunday roast with fresh vegetables.

“ This is a great apartment block, very handy for nightlife, restaurants and bars. The pool area is spacious and has a handy little bar. Only negative comments would be the that the rooms should have TV and WiFi provided and not be pay as you go. Some of the bathrooms could do with a bit of an overhaul and the cleaning and changing of towels should be done daily. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Overall though I would stay again and this was my fourth stay in two years...
“ Top Tip: Martel House Restaurant in the Yumbo centre is really good as it El Poncho on the Avenida de Tirana.
