“ Great hotel for young and old alike. Right near the Yumbo Centre which is why I choose it. Food was great the staff were very helpful and friendly

“ After staying in this hotel for the first time, i have to say me and my 3 friends were very impressed. We had a 2 bedroom apartment which was lovely - it was a good size, the compact kitchen had everything you wanted on a self catering holiday including a microwave. The balconies got the sun all afternoon due to the hotel's layout and we were further impressed that each balcony came with 2 sun loungers. The apartment boasted a lovely bathroom (including 2 sinks) with good water pressure in the shower (also has a bath so u have the option of both) The aircon was good and free.

We found the staff very friendly, the maids in particular did not wake u up at the crack of dawn to clean your room like alot of other hotels ive stayed in! As we were self catering we did not use the restaurant. There were plenty of sun loungers & each has a soft cover you can put of making them more comfortable.

The only down side was that the pool was not very big, however there are bungalows in the complex that have their own pool so the main one did not get too overcroweded.

“ Top Tip: Very good chinese all you can eat buffet in the far side of the yumbo on the bottom floor - good variety of food and all cooked fresh 7.50euro was a brilliant price!
Also 90% of the steak houses in the yumbo do amazing food, with friendly service.

“ Appalling hotel, generally unhelpful staff, couldn't have a quiet drink at the bar by the pool in the evening, had to have it in "the chill out bar" which is outside the hotel on the street. The hotel is out of the way near "yumbo" which if you are gay is fine if not....... the area the hotel is in is like a spanish council estate on a island. No bars near it unless you are gay. No decent restaurants near either. The hotel is no way a 4 star would struggle to get 3 stars. Had to pay 20 euros for the slowest unsecured wifi. Towels not changed all week. As a married couple were made to feel quite unwelcome at times in the surrounding area and were subjected to lewd behaviour by groups of gay people in the surrounding area just because we werent gay. "tolerance works both ways..." If you read this review stay at one of the hotels at melonaras side of maspolomas any of the lopesan (true 4 stars) or riu hotels around the lighthouse.
