“ The rooms were in ned of a face lift, but as is most of PLaya gel Ingles. wasn't happy to arrive and have a room with a veiw of scaffolding outside your balcony and when asked to move was offered a room with a palm tree outside it blocking all view. this accomodation is 2 star
“ Top Tip: there a number of great restaurants close to this accomodation. (Mundo, Aptos. Tenesor, Avda. de Tirajana - Merlin, Lenamar Apartments, Avda. de Tirajana - Restaurante OK, Aptos. Barbados, Avd. Tirajana.

“ Apartments have dated decor and certainly show their age, however, they are clean, reasonably well maintained and in a great location being within close proximity to the beach and the main entertainment areas. Best aspect: quiet location. Worst Aspect: Rubbish showers that run cold after a short time! You could do much worse though, much of th accommodation stock in Playa del Ingles has seen better days! Would go back.
“ Top Tip: Maspalomas Beach is fabulous and only a five-ten minute trek across the magnificent sand dunes of Maspalomas.

“ Here we go first review for the Sol y Mar apartments. They are not 3* they are 2 keys very, very basic, a fridge with a freezer compartment, two electric ring cooker, no kettle, no toaster, no hairdryer, no drawers to put your clothes in, no lamp, lighting very inadequate. The apartments are immaculate, maid service 5 times a week, clean towels regular, bed changed regular, pool cleaned everyday, didn't use it, because it wasn't heated. Would we use the apartments again YES!! Most are privately owned, its not for the young we are in our early 60's. In a nice quiet area. Reception very helpful.
In a great location, five minute stroll to Maspolomas sand dunes, minutes to a good bus route. Close to Cita Centre, we were the only English staying there and the area was very Scandinavian dominated. Caterina Hotel nearby good entertainment and a great happy hour. Palmitos Park excellent for a day out. Boat trip to Mogan a rip off. Play del Ingles gone very expensive 4 euros (average) for a pint, every English person you met the topic of conversation was how expensive everything was. Booked everything through Travel Republic, Car park, transfers, flight, apartment etc, couldn't fault it.
