The complex was completely renovated in 2000. The complex offers a total of 157 apartments spread over 9 floors. Amongst the hotel's facilities count a foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, a lift, safe and a currency exchange. Guests may also make use of the small supermarket for small sundries.
Further facilities include an Internet connection and a laundry service. A car park is available for use by those guests arriving at the hotel by car.This apartment complex is situated on a hillside in the tourist area of Puerto Rico. It is a mere 10-minute walk to the local beach (around 1.5 km away). There are a number of bars, restaurants, boutiques and shopping facilities in the area surrounding the hotel. There is a bus stop located 50 m the hotel.The apartments comprise of an en suite bathroom, kitchenette with a fridge and balcony or terrace.
Additional fittings include a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV and a safe. The apartment is cleaned after guests have vacated it.The complex offers its own swimming pool, a poolside snack bar, sun loungers and parasols. It is also possible to play a round of tennis, minigolf or billiards. The nearest golf course is situated about 1.5 kilometres from the hotel.
A wide range of water sports is available down on the beach; options include jet skiing, sailing, and the opportunity to hire catamarans or pedalos. In addition, there is an entertainment programme on offer.

“ Good basic hotel ideal for a winter holiday but the lack of air con could be a problem to some in the summer months,the pool bar is well kept but drinks and snacks are on the pricey side.The hotel is perched on the side of a high hill and has wonderful views from most of the rooms although the first to third floors have some rooms without any view at all so always book higher floors if possible,being on top of a hill the Blue Star would not be recommended for people with mobility issues or indeed the unfit most walks from the hotel involve stairs and steep slopes .The Europa centre with its bars and shops is a five minuet walk away so taxis are not needed unless you wish to go into the main town.This has been my fourth visit to the Blue Star and i will go again but don't expect 4 star it dose need some money throwing at it.

Always try for high floor room except for when i am going coz i want it.
Extreeeemz bar is the cheapest for drinks but you have to put up with DJ Ross and his bad jokes
The best way to get Euros is to take sterling ,some of the cash machines only give 90 Euro for a pound

“ Apartments are basic but adequate but walls are very thin & you can hear everything - some nights very noisy. Close to Europa centre restaurants & shops but need taxi to beach or long walk down/up steep hill.
“ Top Tip: Amadores beach. Great restaurant at Palmera Mar (turn left towards Amadores beach from Blue Star right at roundabout & few hundred yards down hill with stunning view of beach through glass wall from high up.

“ we found the hotel to be clean and well kept with good customer service. breakfast menu was very good with plenty of choice. the hotel had three pools which were clean but were un-heated and only for the brave during our early feb stay. overall we were pleased .

Bungalow complex located alongside Maspalomas golf course and close to Playa del Inglés resort centre, surrounded by shops and leisure venues and 2 km. from the beach. Bungalow Vista Flor is located in “Campo Internacional Maspalomas”, close to shopping opportunities and entertainment venues. The Maspalomas beach is approximately 2 km. away, which is easily reached using the free bus service (running twice in the morning and twice in the afternoon) or the public transport links, 200 m. from the complex. The property is situated between the water park and the sport centre with several possibilities such as sauna, gym, tennis courts and more. The complex features reception area, bicycle and car rental, safe (with extra charge), internet access, restaurant, lounge-dining room and mini market. The leisure and sports facilities include pool, children´s pool, sun terrace, snack bar, playground, games room, table tennis, billiards, sports activities and entertainment program. The complex, with its lush gardens, comprises a total of 304 studio apartments and an entrance area with 24-hour reception, a hotel safe, a currency exchange facility and lift access. In addition to this the hotel has Internet access with a WLAN access point (charges apply), conference facilities, a common room with TV, car hire, a disco/ pub, a small supermarket, an on-site hairdresser and a restaurant with an ample selection of dishes on the menu as well as a panoramic view over all of Puerto Rico. Parking is also available for guests arriving by car.
