The staff were lovely however the bar was closed during our stay from 5pm in the evening.
The cleaning staff were great however after visiting the canneries every year this is the first occasion where we have been visited by cockroaches which was very unpleasant.
The balcony and view from this hotel are stunning and very relaxing

“ Very Friendly and helpful staff, Step could be a little daunting for older people but if you ask for a top level apartment they seem to be amenable to moving you. Nice pool area, clean and well maintained. Bar snacks and drinks at a reasonable price too !
“ Top Tip: Amadores beach is by far better for eating and drinking, Puerto Rico beach has a real need of an overhaul

“ Great appartments, very clean. Bar staff are very friendly and make you feel very welcome. Normally go in september but when on the 17th of August this year...hotel was packed with spanish families which were very loud so no hotel entertainment like normal and the bar closed at 11.30pm most night. but part from that I can't fault the place. I think Leo the bar man is the best but watch out for the tabasco sauce on your straws a little joke he played with us!

Basic but very clean and comfortable is how i would describe the
Guanabara Park Apartments. The pool is great and the bar/restaurant is very reasonably priced food and drink and the staff are all friendly.
I wouldn't advise the elderly or people with young children to walk back from the main centres or beach as it is tough but there is always a taxi nearby and they are cheap.
We'll be back :)

Top Tip:
Fave restaurants - 'Sabidan' near taxi rank at the Puerto Rico Centre is excellent value, friendly and well run (you won't loose weight eating here :) and 'El Cenador' near to apartments is fantastic for steaks.
Amadores beach is beautiful and the coastal walk will keep photographers happy.
