“ a rather disheveled hotel on a very steep hill even the walk from the road down to reception was very steep the europa centre is in fact 1000 metres from the hotel and involves a very steep ascent certainly not recommended for older people. our room 809 was not at the front it was at the side and was very tired looking but the worst thing was the cockroaches i came across when i opened the utensils draw in the kitchen the reception is only opened till 8pm i mention this to reception but all they did was look at me puzzled. i did not sleep at all i had to try and sleep with the lights on, well the thought of the cockroaches running around when the lights were out was too much to take.BE WARNED THIS IS A VERY VERY HILLY LOCATION AND THE ONLY GOOD SIDE IS THE TAXI'S ARE RELATIVLY CHEAP ABOUT 4 EUROS EITHER WAY TO THE EATING. DRINKING,SHOPPING AREAS.having been employed in the hotel business for many years in the past i could not eveen give this hotel a 1* im afraid to be brutally honest i would give it a minus 3* vote for its location and its obvious standard of clendlness,sort the cockroaches out DISGUSTING.

Top Tip:
chigago restaurant in the europa centre gives great value for money food look out for the special menu which includes a drink of beer or wine with your food and if your lucky you may also get a free after dinner cocktailonce they know you for 6 euros 50 cents its a great deal.
if you like your designer outlets la terraza is great especially for desigual and zara etc and el mirador is good for primark etc they are both next to each other and are situated half way between the airport and las palmas town well worth a visit.

Excellent hotel although it was half way up a steep hill. 10 mins walk up to Europa Centre where you could eat and drink or you could get a taxi from Europa Centre to the main Commercial Centre for 5 Euros.
No air con and this would be a problem in summer but we stayed in November so it was okay.
“ Top Tip: 10 mins walk downhill to Ammadores Beach. Beach was lovely and only 3 euros for sun lounger.

“ Clean and tidy apartment and complex, very basic but as expected for the price. Staff friendly, ideal as a base if you want to go out exploring ... although is a walk or taxi to get anywhere, you're not on the doorstep of anything really, Nice place if you want a chill out break away from it all, pool quiet and no problem getting beds!

Guests are welcomed in the inviting reception, which is open around the clock, and also includes a safe, a lift and a currency exchange desk. “ When I booked Roslara apartments as a last minute resort (excuse the pun) I was a bit wary. You get what you pay for and all that, however, we were pleasantly surprised. WHen we arrived the hotel security brought our bags to the room.
