Renovated in 2006, this renovated apartment complex includes a main building with 5 floors and a total of 46 apartments in a neighbouring building. This complex comprises a lobby, a hotel safe and a currency exchange counter. Furthermore, there is a cafe and a small supermarket.The beautiful sandy beach is approximately 1 km away. A fabulous range of restaurants, bars, nightclubs, shops and public transport links are to be found in the town and tourist centre of Puerto Rico.The functional apartments each come with a combined living/ bedroom, a separate bedroom and a private bathroom with a shower. Each of the comfortable apartments also includes a direct dial telephone and satellite/cable TV. A kitchenette with a mini fridge, a seating area and a hire safe also feature as standard. Each apartment also comes with a balcony or terrace.In the outdoor complex is a swimming pool with a separate children's paddling area, a poolside snack bar as well as countless sun loungers and parasols. A golf course can be reached in 15 minutes by making use of public transport.

“ the staff were good, the appartment clean, its more suitable for elderly as its nice and quiet, Its used mostly by scandanavians, we were the only british at this hotel.

“ Our third stay this year and everything was just the same - clean rooms, friendly staff. If you want lots of action and entertainment you won't get them hear but as you are two minutes walk away from restaurants and shops you don't need them. We like it because it is reasonably priced, people that stay here seem to be quiet and considerate of others, the rooms are well proportioned and clean. It's a great base and we will go there again.
“ Top Tip: Walk round the coast path to Amadorese, a nice walk and a lovely beach.

“ the hotel is perfectly fine for the price with friendly staff however, the shape of the bay of puerto rico means that the any noise coming from the disgusting 'europa centre' echoes and bounces around making this location extremely noisy until 4am each morning.

The apartment was spacious and modern. There was a bottle of wine, a bottle of water and useful things like a toaster and tea towels to use.
There is only one bank of steps to go down before you are at the Mall where all the bars, restaurants and shops are. Everything is close at hand.
The staff in the apartments were very friendly and helpful and we were able to keep our room on the last day until we were due to be picked up at 17.40 which was extremely useful.
Would definitely go back.
“ Top Tip: Puerto Rico beach is only about a 15 minute walk away but we favoured Amadores beach which is further around the coastline.

The well known Ipanema Park Apartments are located in the first barranco of Puerto Rico. The apartments are built into the hillside and designed so that every apartment has a breathtaking view over both the marina and the ocean. The complex offers a superior level of comfort and tranquility. It is an ideal base for couples or families with smaller children. There is entertainment on certain nights of the week plus a popular BBQ evening for those who wish to stay around the complex for the evening. All apartments feature living room with sofa bed, satellite TV channels and direct line telephone. Kitchens include cooking utensils, toaster coffee maker and kettle. Bedrooms have twin beds and views of the sea.
“ Just come back from a lovely stay at Ipanema Park Apartments, this is a basic but very clean and tidy place with friendly and helpful staff. The pool is great but a bit cold unless the sun has been on it.

“ This is the nicest hotel I have stayed in while in Puerto Rico, immaculately clean and well run, all the staff I met were the pleasant of people and took pride in the job they were doing. I and my family also will definately be going back.

Puerto Azul is a great choice for a holiday in Puerto Rico and has been very popular with British holidaymakers for years. The hotel has great facilities & exceptional location with panoramic views overlooking the ocean. The Europa Commercial Center which has a variety of local shops, cafes, bars & restaurants is within a short uphill walk and a bus stop right outside the hotel will take you down to the beach and main resort centre. The AI programme consists of breakfast, lunch and dinner, all buffet style, served in the main restaurant. Twice a week a theme buffet takes place (Canarian & Italian). During meals local wine is offered. Snacks are available between 13:00 & 15:00 and ice cream from 10:00-18:00. Tea & coffee time with biscuits & pastries is from 16:30-19:00. Locally produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks are served from 10:00–23:00. “ Fantastic location, very clean, all inclusive is fantastic, food served pretty much all day, every drink you can imagine is served including cocktails. Rooms spacious & clean. Pool area and bar area very pretty... Could do with better wifi area but apart from that it's fab!!

Renovated in 2005, this apartment complex includes 5 floors and 184 apartments. Guests are welcomed in the inviting reception, which is open around the clock, and also includes a safe, a lift and a currency exchange desk. The complex additionally includes a kiosk, a supermarket, a public Internet terminal and WLAN access point. Culinary delights are offered in the cafe, cosy bar and elegant restaurant. Younger guests are offered a kids' club, where they can play and make handicrafts. A laundry service is also offered as well as a car park for those arriving by car.
