Established in 2002, the complex comprises a total of 45 villas of 2 storeys each. Guests can make use of a relaxing terrace, a wonderful garden landscape, a cosy bar and a restaurant catering to all culinary desires with specialities of Spanish cuisine. It is also possible to make use of the medical assistance (added fees apply). There is both bicycle hire and a storage room available and those arriving by car may make use of the hotel car park. Guests also receive a green fee discount in summer at the Salobre Golf Resort. A shuttle service to the beach is available with charge.This golf resort is located in a sought-after area, surrounded by gardens and wonderful nature and with breathtaking views over the mountains, which emphasise the contrast between green landscape and the desert regions. The villas form a complex built in an innovative architectural style. They were constructed with top-grade local materials and offer guests accommodation where relaxation and comfort are of primary importance. The town and tourist centre with countless shops, bars, restaurants and nightclubs can be reached in about 10 minutes by car. A wonderful beach and the nearest access to public transport are both about 5 km from the complex. The villas have direct access to the motorway and for this reason, it is recommended to arrive by car. Gran Canaria airport is roughly 40 km from the complex.Each of the villas comes with a spacious en suite bathroom with a hairdryer, satellite/ cable TV, a radio and a hi-fi system. The kitchen is furnished with a fridge, an oven, a microwave oven, tea and coffee making facilities and a washing machine. An iron and ironing board, a sitting area, inpidually adjustable air conditioning and heating, a hire safe and a balcony or terrace are also provided in all accommodation units as standard.Leisure options in the outdoor area include a heated swimming pool with sun loungers and parasols laid out ready for use. Moreover, guests have the opportunity to relax in the solarium (charges apply). It is also possible to play golf (for an additional fee).

Externally, these are beautiful villas with good views of the golf course and of the ocean from some of them. The pool was only a plunge pool - not great for children!Internally, we were disappointed with the basic bathrooms which were poorly appointed and had leaks and poor water pressure.
There were only 4 cups and 2 teaspoons - there was a washer, but no dryer!
Service was poor - noone showed us to our villa, so we had to locate it in the dark - nothing was explained to us and as we were handed our bunch of keys, I asked which of the 10 keys opened the front door! The receptionist did not know!
Our daughter was sick at 9:30 pm one evening and as there is no spare bedding in the villas, we rang reception to ask for some - we were told that the housekeeper had gone home with the key and it was not possible to give us any more bedding.
We asked if she would ring the nearby Sheraton Hotel [stayed here last year and thoroughly recommend it] to ask if they would lend us some as we had no covers for one of the beds.
She rang us back to say that the Sheraton would not do this.
I sent my husband round to the Sheraton reception to ask personally and they gladly lent us all the bedding that we needed and asked if we needed any towels or anything else.
They also stated that they had not received a request from the villas receptionist.
In our view this was appalling service.
