The hotel, based on the ‘Adults Only' concept, provides modern and comfortable facilities designed with your relaxation and enjoyment in mind: extensive, well-kept grounds with 2 pools, a Jacuzzi and solarium-terrace, fitness room, chill out bar, two restaurants and an Internet point and WiFi zones.
To ensure your total relaxation, we've included two new exclusive spaces for our guests: A Beauty Centre complete with Jacuzzi and sauna and the Thai Zen SPAce Centre: a whole new concept in spas and wellness that combines healing oriental arts with a wide range of treatments designed to soothe body, mind and soul.
The complex also includes a fitness centre, tennis court and the chance to try your hand at a range of activities such as aerobics, rifle shooting and archery, billiards, darts, gymnastics, volleyball and table tennis. There are several golf courses nearby, plus a range of other sports facilities including bowling, horse-riding, mini golf, pedaloes, sailing, scuba ping, water skiing and windsurfing.

Directions
On leaving Las Palmas Airport, take the GC-1 road for 27.3 km. Leave the road at Exit 43 and follow the trunk road as far as Maspalomas, where the hotel is situated.
As this is an adults only hotel children aged under 14 are not accepted.

Nice hotel with very friendly staff, plentiful and varied food, good swimming pools and close to the beach. A surprisingly large number of older guests made us feel well below the average age. The kids only above 14 rule led us to expect more teenagers which would have been welcome for my sons 18 & 14.
A couple of things that slightly niggled was the clueless receptionist who told us completely the wrong info about the bus to get to Aqualand so we had to get a taxi (nevertheless a great day out). Also for hotel wifi I paid 15 euros for the week but had no help/ apology/ rebate for it not working one day I really wanted to use it.
The stars of the hotel were Laura, Karolina and Alina who gave us all a good laugh with the sporting activities like archery and shooting.

“ i`am 79 and my wife 63. I was quite shocked at the average age of the people staying and how long they stayed.Some for 10 wks plus since x-mas! Most people are all inclusive so you are made to wear a coloured band. We were halve board and the drinks were uk prices. In comparison Las Palmas was cheap.The hotel has a large garden(lovely) and pool. Pool was heated but we found you had to keep moving to stay warm and I in got really cold. For a hotel aiming mostly ?at the elderly it was too cold! Room comfy and clean but noise start at 5(roadworks). Side seaview and sun whole afternoon though!Organized games, not for me but my wife liked it. Crossbow shooting,yoga etc.Food ok to good. Had a few paella`s with too many bones but it is a large hotel. Staff helpfull. Few cafe`s nearby but near hotel coastal path uneven and a bit steep now and then. Road to playa d Ingles better. To see the scenery go on a tour, but real culture is in Las Palmas. Information closed on Sundays. Place very good for single travellers esp over the festive season (and with the games) to meet people. There were golfers, cyclists and walkers in the hotel. My wife would stay here again for 5 days and then move to L.P.You can swim in the sea directly behind the hotel but a little further it is calmer.I also think vegetarians might struggle a bit with food variations but there is plenty of fish. Paella making demonstration was fantastic and the best one I have eaten. Cost to use the hotels pc excessive.£4 for 30 min, £6 for an hour. Day tariff very high. You also pay to use own pc and unable to use in your room so not easy to watch a movie!!!!
“ Top Tip: German cafe next door good for coffee and snacks. Also` the Olive`/oliva on the promenade Las canteras in .L.P.on a Sunday very attrative and full of locals. Book?

Having stayed in many other Iberostar's around the world, this one sadly let it's counterparts down!..
Plus points: Rooms were basic/dated, but clean.
Food overall was warm and of a reasonable standard.
Negative: The service in restaurant's and bars was non existant, and the reception was awful.. If you didn't speak German!!..Ironic I know, being a Spanish speaking country,they couldn't understand you!!!.. Bad show Iberostar!
