Very upmarket; well-run; comfortable; clean. Staff pleasant and helpful, always available. We stayed a bit longer than the usual 2/3 nights so got a prestige room with views of both the town rooftops and the Sierra Nevada. The hotel restaurant was functioning, lovely food, but little for vegetarians (only one main-course dish); also snacks of considerable size - enough for two - available in the bar.
The disadvantage of this hotel is its distance from the town. There are a couple of (downhill) walks which take you either to Campino del Principe (turn right out the hotel) or to Via Gomerez (left turn into car-free slopes beyond the bus-stop opposite the hotel) for access to more eateries/bars and shops. Both walks take about 5-10 minutes, depending on your speed!
“ Top Tip: Taxi back from town at the end of the evening is 5-6 euros. Most cabbies seemed honest and were grateful for even a tiny tip.

The hotel was selected by us for it's location near to the Alhambra where we had arranged an organised visit the next day. It met all our expectations in every respect and I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone.
The room was first class and the breakfast fantastic. We were able to park the car right outside the hotel fornthenduration of our stay but maybe we were lucky as parking is fairly limited.
We would certainly stay there again if we visit Granada again

“ Top Tip: Easy to walk into the plaza Nuevoand there are mini buses back to hotel. Also taxi is approx 4 euros.
