“ The majority of the staff who were supposed to be the 'face' of the hotel were very unfriendly. The maids and waiters were great but the people on the front desk didn't have even a smile to give when we came or left. No 'hello' or 'welcome' or 'did you have a nice stay?'. After talking with locals we realised it was partly because we didn't speak english and because we were dressed differently. Other than that, the hotel is actually in a great location for buses, tours and taxis and is efficient and satisfactory food-wise and in terms of cleanliness/comfort.

“ Really good quality hotel. Modern, comfortable rooms. The only quibble is some noise from toilets flushing during the night. Breakfast is fantastic. Rooftop terrace is large with views of snow-capped Sierra Nevada. We were there in May and the pool and bar does not open until mid-June although the terrace is open for sunbathing - great after a day of sightseeing. Hotel is central within 5-10 minutes walk of most things. We loved the city and the hotel.
“ Top Tip: At night head for the Barrio Albayzin, the old moorish quarter on the hill opposite the Alhambra. The view of the floodlit Alhambra from the square at the top of the hill is fantastic - and free!

“ Hotel was very clean rooms were well air conditioned and spacious well decorated and the rooftop swimming pool and bar area was a real bonus.
“ Top Tip: do the bus tour to get your bearings you can hop on and off for 2 days and we got discounts in various places like the Hamman which was a real treat.

The Navas Hotel is situated in the street of the same name, a typical pedestrian road in the centre of Granada; next to Plaza del Carmen - where the town hall is located. In front of Plaza de Bib- Rambla, is the heart of Granada where the most prestigious shops are situated.
