“ This hotel was lovely, it was very modern and the rooms were beautifully done in modern decor. The bathroom was also very contemporary. The breakfast was the usual buffet breakfast that most hotels have in Spain with a reasonably good selection. The hotel is within walking distance to the the centre (about a mile) but in 38 degrees heat we thought it best to take the car and park in one of the underground car parks. There is also a bus stop beside the hotel which will take you to the centre of town. There is a charge to park your car in the hotel car park, but you can park on the street, which we did with no problem. There is also free wi fi but it is not good in the rooms, we had to go down to the foyer to get a connection. We had some trouble finding the hotel but if you follow the pink signs for the Alhambra you should find it easily enough just on a roundabout.
“ Top Tip: If going to the Alhambra make sure that you get a ticket that gets you entry to the Palace. I got the tickets from the machine at the entrance which was €8 (generalife),but it only covered entry to the grounds. It can work out quite expensive, as you need to pay another €13 to see the Palace and then €6 for the headset which will talk you though the tour. There were long queues which I suppose would be expected in July.

“ Top Tip: Taxis are very very cheap in Granada. Get bus 33 from bus station direct to the hotel.

Amazing hotel, clean, and a few minutes away on the bus from the city centre and Alhambra palace.
The only downfall about this hotel is some of the staff were unhelpful at some points during the stay, but apart from that I would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay there again.
“ Top Tip: Not many attractions within walking distance of the hotel but local bus stop just 2 minutes away which go to many main attractions.

“ Very pleasant hotel, well placed if you have a car, for Sierra Nevada, Alpujarra etc, but for the old quarter and the Alhambra its easier to take the local buses which stop almost outside or pleasant level walk 25min along river bank. Very good and comprehensive breakfasts, table de hote menu not recommended as very repetitive (they are not really geared to anyone staying more than 2 nights) but they were very helpful and we had a beautiful paella one night. Rooms very comfortable quiet and clean and everything worked. Very busy with oriental tour groups and conferences.

Top Tip:
get the 33 if you want to go into town (bus).
13 if you are going up the hill to Alhambra.
alternatively in a group of 3-4, taxi works out cheap too.

Renovated in 2006, this hotel comprises a total of 30 double rooms spread over a 4 storey main building and a 3 storey annexe block. Guests may make use of the foyer with 24-hour reception desk, a safe, a currency exchange facility, a lift, a cafe and a pleasant 6,000 me garden. Further facilities include a bar, a pub, a games room, a TV room, an air-conditioned e la carte restaurant, conference facilities, public Internet access and WLAN access. Younger guests may let off steam in the playground and those arriving by car may take advantage of the car park or garage facilities. Room and laundry services round off the facilities on offer along with bicycle rental.
“ I was very pleased with this hotel, lots of facilities which I didn't have time to use. Large room which had separate seating area. Excellent buffet breakfast. Will use again next time I am in the area.

“ Standard rooms were very small but bed comfortable and bathroom excellent. Staff very helpful and friendly, breakfast very good also. Great position and near to all bars, restaurants and shops (Cortes Inglesia next door!) Hop on hop off bus just up the road as well.

The Macia Condor Hotel is located close to the shopping and administrative centre of the city. It is just a short walk to the old town and the numerous monuments in the city, like the Alhambra, the Royal Chapel and the cathedral. Moreover, buses and trains are nearby. The hotel offers a high standard of facilities and services and its friendly staff are always on hand to assist with your needs.
“ Beautiful hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Free access to the internet on a computer bear the restaurant. Rooms very clean, and bathroom towels changed every day. Plenty shampoo etc. We had a room facing the main road (605), and had a lovely view from there. Would recommend this to anyone. It is a more sedate hotel, so I don't think it would be suitable for yonger people.

“ Comfortable hotel in ideal position close to shops, and within walking distance of all the major sites. The room was not the largest but perfectly adequate for our 3 night stay. The bathroom was clean, spacious and had plenty of hot water.
