“ When we arrived at 11am, after travelling for 10 hours straight, we were told our room would not be ready until 2pm. I asked if it was even possible to have a shower, we were told no. The receptionist was rude and unhelpful. When we did finally get into our room it was a great disappointment. It was dingy and dark-not the Moorish hotel we were hoping for. The shower head would not stay up and there was virtually no room. They were unable to get us tickets to the Alhambra and were generally unhelpful in all we did. There seemed to be very few guests staying yet they did not move us to a more comfortable room. For what we paid, I now wish that we had stayed in a cheap pension across the square whose rooms were just as nice (my friend was staying there). This was supposed to be me and my partner's anniversary trip and we were there to celebrate a friend's wedding. Although Granada and the wedding were fantastic, the accommodation was awful. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone; nor will we be going back.
“ Top Tip: In Plaza Nueva there are many nice bars and everywhere does tapas. The atmosphere outside of the hotel was warm and welcoming-what a difference!

“ The Hotel is in an enviable position to live downtown and visit the Alhambra. The rooms are spacious. The bathroom is comfortable and has a window. We feel, however, the absence of a real lobby and breakfast that is managed in a nearby bar.
