A very comfortable hotel, with very pleasant staff.
The food was good with a tasty breakfast form the kitchen.
Used the hotel restaurant twice and the food was very good too.

Top Tip:
Try the menu of the day in the restaurant, great setting with great food.
Good chinenese restaurant with large portions.
Make sure you go to the Albazin area

The main selling point for this hotel is the parking provided in the garage under the hotel. At 16 Euros per night it is expensive, but a price worth paying to save a lot of hassle. Location wise the hotel is perfectly situated on a lovely boulevard and a short stroll to the city centre shops. The Breakfast buffet is excellent with a wide choice continental selection and also bacon, sausages and scrambled eggs to suit those who prefer an English breakfast. They even had smoked salmon to go with the scrambled eggs.
We didn't eat in the restaurant in the evening so cannot comment on that.
The room wasn't the best - it was small and we had a view of the wall of the basilica across the side street. Also the hotel provided no tea or coffee making facilities and when we enquired about this we were told that as we were staying in a standard room this wasn't provided. The bed was also very hard and difficult to sleep on. I like a hard mattress, but this was rock hard. The room was clean and the bathroom was fine.
I have rated this hotel a 7 and I would recommend it.
I would also recommend travelrepublic who I have used twice now and have been very helpful and efficient.
“ Top Tip: Chickos restaurant at the end on Carrera de Genil (the street on which the hotel is situated). They do a lovely sirloin steak.

“ The hotel was good in most respects except they seemed to have run out of hot water by early evening, so a cold shower ensued.
“ Top Tip: Lots of good restaurants, tapas bars and a great atmosphere.

“ A great hotel, very good location easy to get to all the major sites. The hotel did a great picnic breakfast as we were out early for the Alhambra. Staff were very helpful and spoke English. Rooms were lovely good facilities and clean. Had a triple room for 3 adults and space wasn't a problem.
“ Top Tip: The church next door is beautiful and worth a visit. Lots of great bars that do free tapas, look for the signs on the door.

“ Comfortable hotel in ideal position close to shops, and within walking distance of all the major sites. The room was not the largest but perfectly adequate for our 3 night stay. The bathroom was clean, spacious and had plenty of hot water.

“ I was happy with my selection. Good central location. Nice room; clean, good size. Friendly staff. I would definitely stay there again. The only negative was that the wi-fi was variable, but it was available in the room most of the time.
