“ Hotel very simple to review and i would certainly stay again. The Hotel has an excellent City Centre location, was clean, tidy and staff friendly. Buffet breakfast very good. Only issue was the head height of the slopping roof in the room, extremely easy to end up with a sore head! This appeared to be the case for most of the rooms on the 5th floor as my colleague also encountered the same.

“ The hotel location was excellent very near the centre of Madrid, close to shops, cafe, bars and restaurants. The room was very tiny, since we were three people, they added another bed which made it impossible to move in the room. It isn't at all like it shows in the hotel photos. The WiFi connection was very low !We could hardly get any signal in our room. Overall - average.

Situated in downtown Madrid, only 200 metres from the Puerta del Sol, the heart of the commercial and cultural centre of the city. Traditional Spanish cuisine is on offer in the El Principado Restaurant which is located on the first floor of the floor offering views over Seville Street. Each of the hotel bedrooms are intimate and individually designed and the hotel extends a warm welcome to all guests.
“ Hotel was well situated for shops and night life, in need of decoration, lots of noise from other guests, our room was situated internally and no natural light (like a cave), bedding and bathroom were clean and functional.

The Regente Hotel is ideally located steps away from the Gran via in downtown Madrid. The Plaza Mayor, Puerta del sol and the historic area of los Austrias are all just within close walking distance.
