The Hotel Calypso, located in Salou, is just 10 minutes from the beach, 3km from the Port Aventura theme park, and 12km from the Reus Airport. There are 532 double rooms, all with full bathrooms, balconies, air conditioning and telephones. The restaurant is buffet-style and in the summer you can enjoy the open air restaurant. The Hotel Calypso has two swimming pools, hydro-massage and many other facilities and services to help you enjoy your stay. A particular highlight is the different daytime and night-time entertainment programs as well as the shows and thematic dinners.

Amongst the hotel's modern facilities are a foyer with 24-hour reception, a currency exchange desk, lift access and a TV room. The inviting restaurant offers highchairs for younger guests. This hotel has been among the "Top 25 Bargain Hotels in Spain" for two consecutive years, as voted by Tripadvisor's "Travellers's Choice".
“ Travel Republic's website says the hotel was built in 1989, but the retro decor dates from several decades earlier creating a truly authentic feel. Breakfast is served until midday, but it is disappointing. However the hotel is located amidst many good restaurants and cafes. The staff are extremely helpful and I look forward to my next visit.

Further facilities include a nightclub and younger guests are offered a playroom and a kids' club. Other facilities include an air-conditioned restaurant, laundry and room service as well as a car park and garage (charges apply).
