“ A great hotel with good accommodation and location but with serious weaknesses in the quality of food at dinner (half-board) and with the poor service in the Spa, where little works anyway. Despite complaining to the manager, we were left thinking we were the only ones who did so - clearly NOT the case given the number of other travellers who we now see complain on review sites.

The hotel is well situated on the outskirts of Los Cristianos so guests can take advantage of the lively resort or relax in the hotel's sunny gardens which overlook the beach. Facilities include three swimming pools, a gym, sauna and squash/tennis courts. A buffet style restaurant and 4 bars are also available.

“ This hotel looks good but should not be rated a 5* it is a very large hotel so dont expect any personel service . the food is 2/3* star allways cold and very little variety ,if you visit in january as we did, expect to wear a coat inside the hotel as the main doors all around the reception and bar coffee area are open and it is very cold .

The hotel is situated in Playa de las Americas and is surrounded by a large sub tropical garden. Facilities at the hotel include two outdoor swimming pools with a water chute. “ staff excellent. beds are on wheels and can can be difficult to stop moving (no jokes please) my wife and I have stayed at this hotel several times and even allowing for the moving beds we will be back.

“ We have been here twice before. Very clean with large apartments. They gave us an apartment at pool level (P07). Very nice and quiet to sleep at night. We overlooked the pool. Very large balcony. Reception were very helpful.

“ My wife and i had a most pleasent stay at the sol princesa dacil hotel we had a room on the first floor facing the pool it was basic but clean and tidy.We booked half board the food was very good and there was a variety to choose from.
