Club Cala Tarida Hotel

“ Food was varied & plentiful, always something for everyone.Restaurant staff were very efficient, entertainment staff made an effort to get you involved.Very clean,air con good.Good value for what we paid.Beach was worth the walk down the steps. nice location for a quiet holiday, good bus service to San Antonio.Would recommend.

“ This hotel was clean and well presented. However, you cannot check until 2pm in the day so plan flights accordingly.
In regards to entertainment, the Dj played the same set twice a day everyday, which can be heard from many of the rooms giving the hotel a "groundhog day" vibe. Every set was ended by the intolerable "so sexy,so sexy" sentencing your ears for a crime they didn't commit.
Transport to other places on the island was every hour or so. There only a few places to eat around cala tarida, there wasn't a great deal in variety across restaurants either. Don't plan on staying in and around the hotel for too long otherwise boredom will ensue.

“ Top Tip: There is a small harbor which is picturesque down the road from the hotel. You can swim without the crowds. A Brazilian bar situated near cala tarida beach is the most lively and friendly place to eat and drink.

“ absolutely loved this hotel the pools were lovely staff was great and the rooms was nice and clean the only 2 things that were not good was the food and that it was far from strip but you could get bus to the main attraction but the bus only ran till 19.45pm and then it was 20euros in taxi.

“ Top Tip: beach was only 5 min and also a bar that was perfect to chill and relax with their comfy couches and view of the beach is only 2min from the beach (on way to beach)

“ This is hotel is in a quiet location with the beach on your doorstep literally! Note there are steps down to the beach with ramps along side for buggy's or wheel chairs, about 50 steps in all, 2 restaurant/bars on the way down. Then a beach with boats for hire etc. The beach is lovely but we used our beach mats to save euro's to hire a sunbed.
Back to the hotel, the food was of a high standard, fresh with lots of variety and check out the pasta bar which is tucked round the corner but should have pride of place!
The rooms are clean and tidy good bathroom/shower, tv, air con and small balcony with table and chairs. If possible try to get a seaview if you are like me and like to see the sea from your room.
The bar is manned at all times for drinks and snacks and the staff are friendly and helpful There is a pool table, internet and Fifa 11 in the bar area and two pools with ample sunbeds but if you want a bit more peace from the music etc go down to the small pool at the rear of the hotel where there is a more relaxed, quiet atmosphere for you to enjoy!
The entertainment is targeted for the Spanish and Italians. So if you are after an hotel which provides entertainment and you are British, This hotel is NOT for you!
and you will have to get a taxi to other areas of Ibiza. The bus though stops running around 7pm though!
All in all this hotel and location is perfect for couples, families and elderly people who want the ultimate get away from it all and who want to holiday by themselves. When we were stayed there was about 5 other British couples etc who kept themselves to themselves as we did as me and my partner wanted some time alone on our holiday. So if you too are looking for a holiday like that then The Cala Tarida Club Hotel in Cala Tarida is just what you are looking for! :)
The entertainment team who are mainly Italian, entertain with water polo, music, etc but speak little English but try their best to involve you but is quite hard to do with the language barrier!
We had a lovely stay here and would definitely stay here time and time again!

“ Top Tip: The 1st bar/restaurant on the way down to beach is perfect for a night to chill overlooking the sea and sells some gorgeous sandles etc but get there eqrly as you won't get a seat/lounger! Every night we walked past it was full.
The Sirena supermarket which is about 15 mins walk at the top of the street is where you can buy a range of gifts including perfume, leather belts, clothes and souveniers etc if you don't want to venture in to the other resorts.
If you smoke there is only a vending machine in one of the cafe's to buy them on the road just up from the hotel!
I would go into San Antonio by bus and buy what you want there on your 1st couple of days other than that the vending machine suited us fine.
There is a pharmacy, hairdressers and two supermarkets on your doorstep and thats about all making again a peaceful chilled out holiday! :))) x
