Hotel and facilities are superb, the rooms are spacious, well fitted out with safe and mini kitchen and air conditioning. I went self catering but did try the food breakfast and evening meal buffets, which were atrocious! This is the only negative. The rooms were kept spotless each day and towels refreshed also.
Watch out if travelling after 30th. October, since most of Es Cana is shut!
“ Top Tip: The little back road behind the hotel leads to a small Spanish restaurant which serves superb suckling pig and seafood. Watch out for the 95 Euro seafood platter, which is for two but would probably feed four.

“ First trip to Ibiza, Es Cana is a lovely resort, small and friendly ideal for famalies, there are 2 beaches, lots of bars and restaurants nearby, local bus stops across the road. The hotel was great. The rooms spacious and clean and even though we were all inclusive the room was fully equipped for self catering. Bed linen and towels were changed daily. We asked for a sea view which we got and if you looked directly to the sea , view perfect, but don't look down, horrid to look out over the bars below. Hotel very clean and all staff very friendly, pool really nice and obviously because of the time of year was always lots of sunbeds to choose from. Hotel food was good, always a good selection, breakfast very nice, snack bar food cooked to order was also good. Entertainment/activities throughout the day and evening included something for the children and adults. would stay here again.
“ Top Tip: Taxi to Escana Resort is 33 Euros, if there are 4 people travelling it would be cheaper to have a taxi, transfers by resort hoppa are approximately £ 20 each return

We stayed for the last week of the season. We got a really good deal and the hotel provided good value for money in this respect. However, there was only one bar to order drinks and snacks during the day and in peak season I imagine it would be a bit of a nightmare. The food quality in the restaurant was disappointing and the food was sometimes cold and really quite bland. Breakfast was probably the best meal of the day. The daytime snacks were of a much better quality. There was quite a wide selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks which was good, although the hotel did run out of vodka one night! Ice creams were good for the all inclusive and you could have the Nestle equivalent of magnums and cornettos.
There was one animation guy during this week, Kevin, and he worked incredibly hard with few resources. Evening entertainment was reasonable and enough to satisfy us. We may well return to this hotel at a similar time of year but feel that peak season and peak prices would not offer true value for money.
