The Balansat Apartments complex is in the North part of the Island located only five minutes away from a beach and surrounded by pine clad hills, the place is Puerto De San Miguel which is the main beach for San Miguel. The complex has two large swimming pools and a splash pool with slides for the children also within the complex there is a snacks bar and restaurant. The complex is large and spacious with green lawns and pathways too all the apartments. The Balansat Apartments complex has 109 one bedroom apartments for up to 4 persons and 4 two bedroom apartments for up to 6 persons all air-conditioned.
They have spacious balconies with tables and chairs . There is a complete bathroom and a kitchenette, including a fridge. Some of the apartments have sea view and they have 3 floors. The apartments are overall very comfortable and clean. A cleaning service cleans and changes the towels in the apartments three times a week with bed linen changed two times per week.
The Apartments also have Satellite TV, direct-dial telephone and a safety deposit box. Wifi internet is also available. The area is quiet not near any noisy roads. They are ideal apartments for families and a great beach holiday with excellent facilities for all. 24 hours reception, pizzeria, 2 snack-bars,children's play ground, ping pong, volley ball, billiard tables and video games, terrace-solarium and garden with free deckchairs, pub/music bar; entertainment 6 times a week (games, shows, contests); car rental

“ All-round excellent value-for-money with friendly attentive staff, and a good standard of accommodation.
“ Top Tip: Benirras beach, some 4kms over the cliff-top road from Puerto St Miquel is stunning, and features the hippy drummers every Sunday evening, throughout the year, who "drum" in the sunset, and worship the rock stack located in the bay. A truly magical atmosphere but always extremely busy!

This is a very good value hotel. Not posh by any means, but clean and well run.
The rooms are basic but do the job, well equipped kitchens and good sized living area and patios.
all inclusive is a good deal.. the food is edible/tasty but not gourmet.
The pool area, very good also with a great kids splash pool, which is gated to stop toddlers escaping! As mine tried to do!
The hotel is right on a lovely beach which was very quiet ( as was the whole island) in May.
all in all we would go back... good value for a family on a budget.

“ Lovely hotel. Staff can be a bit unhelpful at times and "can't be bothered" however overall great for families. Mo and Ken at Kids Club are amazing !! Thinking we might go back later in the year.
