Hi! Montemar Apartments

“ The Hotel was fine, pool & surrounding area very good, I have to admit to not reading the features too closely the description of the beach, 500m away was what attracted us. The beach was probably around 500m, but the Hotel was literally halfway up a mountain. As I said the Hotel was fine but the apartments are all acsending up very steep ramps or many steps (someone told us 119 steps to theirs) I would suggest unsuitable for anyone with any mobility restriction. The entertainment was at best not NVG & because of the nature of the site most guests stayed on site, as a captive audience!, the entertainment was very other day & the evenings therefore qiute boring.

“ Top Tip: There's a nice pub/restraunt close, The "Giraffe" which do reasnobly priced food & drinks. We were all inclusive but we were told that the drinks were very expensive on site. The beach is lovely but a stiff downhill walk & worse coming up

“ Our room was good with great views and i was pleased with it in general, but it was a steep climb up though the complex followed by a breathless 47 steps to to get to the room!. On arrival it was a confusing booking in experience after which we were hurried up to our room by the manager while we dragged our luggage behind us up the afore mentioned steep climb resulting in a frustating, hot, sweaty and irritable start to the holiday. After recovering from the exertions of our arrival we were pleased with the standard of the food available but the drink was barely palatable. The hotels location is fantastic on a hill surrounded by trees with great views, the pool is nice but the entertainment on a whole was absolutely RANK! If you want to enjoy the surrondings by the pool you had better bring ear plugs because you'll have to endure very poor, very very loud "Aga do do do" style rubbish REPEATED day after day untill ur brain dead. Sound carries up though the complex and we were woken early hours of the morning by revelers and at 7am every day by the cleaning staff who's store room was near our appartment. In short.....Gutted! this hotel is only for those seeking a very below par butlins style stay.
