Ses Veles Apartments

“ The room we were initially allocated (a one bedroom apartment) had a bad smell, like sewage. It was also quite basic although clean and only had twin beds, no double. When we complained the owner did come immediately (10.30pm at night!) and we were given a different apartment which had been recently refurbished and was much nicer. None of the apartments has a double bed which spoilt our holiday a bit - I don't think these apartments should be sold as "suitable for couples" as I think most couples want to sleep in the same bed! As for the resort it is quite pretty with a decent beach and plenty of restaurants and bars, although it is mostly English/tourist food (chicken & chips, pizza, burgers etc.). Ibiza is a beautiful island and Cala Llonga is nice enough.

“ Top Tip: If you can afford it, go and eat up the hill at Amante! Ses Veles do very nice pizzas and pasta. I would recommend hiring a car so that you can see around the island. If not, there are regular buses to Santa Eularia and Ibiza but they finish around 8pm.

“ Very clean, couldn't fault the appartments. We stayed here the last week of the holiday season, so it was very quiet. I imagine that it could be quite noisy during peak season due to it's location though.

“ The Accomodation was simple, basic but clean. There is no reception and just a cleaner based below the apartments so you are left to your own devices, but help is there if you need it. There are 12 step up into the building which means carrying up pushchairs etc. The pool was lovely and clean and with plenty of sunbeds. The pool is split so there is a small shallow area for little ones. The block is situated in a central but quite location with views over the pool to fields and hill beyond.

“ Top Tip: The apartments have a very family friendly restaurant managed by a really lovely lady. The food is very much Brirtish orientated.

“ Although very basic the apartments they had what we needed for a self-catering holiday and were very clean (cleaned twice during the week that we stayed). Ses Veles is close to the beach,bars and resturaunts making it very convenient. Having stayed in April we almost had Ibiza to ourselves which was lovely and meant our apartment was very quiet. I'm not sure if it would be quite so quiet in full season but I would certainly stay at the Ses Veles again.
