The Central Playa Hotel is recently refurbished and is located close to the centre of Ibiza town and just a ten minute walk to the port area, with its fascinating nightlife. The hotel lies in a quiet but lively area, just one kilometre away from historic Ibiza Town and a few steps away from Figueretas beach. The swimming pool with its sun terrace is on the top floor terrace and provides a magnificent sea view. The rooms are bright and well appointed with all of the modern amenities required for a comfortable stay, including fridge and satellite TV (for an additional fee). Majority of the rooms have balcony. The airport is 7,2km away

VERY FRIENDLY STAFF PART OF A GROUP OF HOTELS HAVE STAYED AT THEM ALL.
ALL ARE WELL MAINTAINED, NICE AND CLEAN
TOWELS ROOM CLEANED DAILY ETC
NICE BEACH LITERALLY ROUND THE CORNER
AND MANY RESTAURANTS ONE IN THE CORNER WITH VINES ALL OVER THE ROOF A REALLY GOOD ITALIAN OWNED

Pleasant staff - always helpful. Food variable and more than sufficient in quantity.
THe hotel was very clean.
In a single room, I felt a little claustrophobic because of the position of the bed in relation to the windows which were a little high.
I would recommend that a "grab bar" be fixed to the wall in the bath to help with showering those guests a little unsteady on their feet. Secondly, I would also recommend that a notice be fixed in each room setting out instructions for locking one's room upon leaving. Setting the lock just before vacating the room allows the door to be closed and locked without slamming. The notice should be translated into German, Italian, French & Spanish.
Despite these shortcomings I enjoyed my holiday.

“ For the money this hotel is brill! We paid to have a balcony and it was massive which meant we could sun bathe without having to go to pool or beach - we also got a sea view which was beautiful! The hotel is right next to the beach and in the centre so near loads or restaurants, shops and bars. It is only 15 minutes from airport which is about 12-15 Euros. The air con was also amazing and they came and changed our towels everyday and made our beds! The decor is very basic and definitly does not have a wow factor however for the money is brill and has everything you need - would defo go back!!

“ It was clean, well placed and good value.
“ Top Tip: There is a lovely french cafe' about 50metres from the hotel. It's nice for breakfast, also has wi-fi and the staff very friendly. I believe it's called Le Croissant.
