Certainly a 5 star location with fabulous views but probably wouldn't rate the hotel 4 star although adequate for a weekend stay. Bedroom was basic, beds comfortable and everywhere was clean.
We stayed on half board and certainly could not grumble for the amount paid. I e-mailed ahead and was able to transfer the dinner we would miss on arrival due to late flights to our departure day.
There was a good selection for breakfast - including really tasty bacon cooked to order and some of the tastiest fresh breads anywhere. However, I would expect orange juice and not squash and also the fruit to be ripe and edible!
Dinner was an average buffet but we enjoyed what we had. I was not tempted by the strange, colourful desserts but tried an individual ice cream which was of very poor quality.
Most staff were friendly and helpful (especially Raffia? on reception) but a couple were quite the opposite. It was generally quiet and peaceful probably because of the time of year. However, with so few sunbeds for the size of the hotel we were unable to enjoy lazing around the pool after sightseeing which was disappointing.
The beach, just a few minutes walk away, was lovely - unspolit but with all facilities. Two sunbeds and an umbrella cost 12 Euros, complete with waiter service for drinks etc. A small Spar shop en route sells essentials including chilled drinks, and there are several local resturants/bars.
The shuttle boat to the old town is reliable and convenient running every half hour at this time of year. At 3 Euros 20 return its a fun change to buses.
We had use of a courtessy room to shower and change on our last day but towels had not been provided so had to dry ourselves on our beach towels.

Top Tip: Taxi to/from airport cost aprox 18 Euros at night + aprox another 3 on Sundays. I believe the day rate is a little less.
Make the effort when visiting the old town to go right to the top, the views are stunning.

Although this hotel is rated 4 star - we would disagree strongly.Would rate 3star for hotel star for food
The food is terrible. Buffet breakfast was very poor - hot food was usually cold, fruit too hard to eat, we stuck to rolls & cheeses!
We only had one evening meal - that was enough! very poor & decided to eat out after that.
The rooms were cleaned daily - but not until late afternoon, very quick wipe round.
The good thing is the location - 10/10 for this - overlooking marina & excellent beach short walk away

Top Tip: Excellent small restaurant left out of entrance

Hotel was marked as 4* but would really be a 3* rating. We booked half board but dinner was very disapointing so would choose b&b. Breakfast was good and on till 11am so no early morning rush.
Hotel was very noisy.

Top Tip: Cafe sydney in marina botafoc was good.
walk to ibiza town took 15 mins.

An average hotel that could do with an update - circa early 80s decor and a bit tired.

That said the view of the bay and old town is fantastic and the atmosphere laid back and relaxed - would use this hotel again for the excellent location alone.

Top Tip: The hotel is ideal for those that want a fantastic relaxing beach holiday close to town. Talamanca bay is five minutes walk and in the middle of the beach is a small beach bar - park yourself there for the day at 4 euro for a bed and 4 euro for a parasol and then let the attendants serve your food and drink fetched from the local bars and cafes - the feeling of a beach club without the cost - a really chilled vibe as well......also pacha is great for an expensive dining experience and then entry to the club - well worth it for those special night (& about 10 minutes walk away - so is el Divino, but this is no where near as good) - don't believe all you hear about Ibiza clubs - Pacha is done with syle and is a mixed crowd - all are welcome with the cash!! - when you go into old town - visit the tapas bar at the foot of the draw bridge - a truly excellent old world feel - great wines and very reasonable - this will be a constant haunt for us as we are bound to return here on short visits!! ,,,,, also when in Dalte Vila turn left instead of right- walk up the hill following the signs for the Cathedral - here you will find several romantic eateries on the cobbled streets - & much more relaxed than in the square....a great night out in genreral
