Excellent - very close to some lovely restaurants, shops and beaches, but far enough away from the trashy west end to be suitable for families and older people. Some people have complained of noise but I heard none, and the room was very clean and pest free.
Only problem some people might find is that the stove tops don't get hot enough, so cooking complicated meals would be hard, but I worked around this. Obviously it's not 5 star, but I would say it's better than 2 star and much better than some reviews make out! I would come back.
“ Top Tip: The beach in front of nearby S'Estanyol hotel is very nice and has a ferry across to the main town every 30 mins for only €2.50 - cheaper than a taxi and far more enjoyable!

“ we went end of october and everything around was close down for the winter season including the hotel pool and pool bar. The hotel food was the same poor rubbish every night til the last two nights cos we were the only guests left there! Cleaners didnt come very often and didnt clean, just left clean towels, beds wern't changed in the ten days we were there. My children and partner were gutted we went here. The only plus side was it was very near to lovely beaches. We wont be staying here again no matter how cheap it is.
“ Top Tip: dont book transfers as a taxi from the airport just costs 27euro each way. If you stay half board be prepared for crap food the same every day. If you go self catering there are very little cooking items in room, no pans. San Antoni is a short walk along the beach away

The hotel was very poor, staff were not helpful. Room was never cleaned once in the week we stayed there. We had to rob some towels and toilet roll of a trolley as we had four towels and one toilet roll
Between four people for the whole week. The rooms were disgusting there was drawing all over the walls the microwave didn't work we had one cup between four. No kettle and kept getting electric shocks off the oven. Try never clean the pool and sweep all rubbish off sides into pool. The worst hotel I have ever stayed in and would never stay again. So much more bad to say about it but will leave it at that.

On booking the hotel, we looked at the reviews...... Bad Idea !!!!!
All I can say is do not base booking this hotel on reviews.
It was great value for Money, The staff were all very friendly and helpful, The hotel was clean, The rooms were a good size, cooking facilities were ok , a microwave and a 2 ring cooker. The only thing I would have said that they could provide is a kettle !!!!!
The bathrooms were all nicely tiled and we certainly did not have the issues that other reviews have said.
It is directly above shops and restuarants,.
Central for all , and you can take a nice walk along the front into San Antonio.
We were a family with a 14yr old and had a FAB time.

Top Tip:
There are a few good pubs nearby to the hotel, The Funky Lizard caters for everyone, food, drink, quiz nights , Bingo, Karaoke, Live sports.
We also ate in Libertys, which is just downstairs from the hotel, all good food and they cater for Kids also. although do not use the Spar walk 50m down to the local shop it is a lot cheaper
