Azuline Mar Amantis Hotel I and II

“ We flew to Ibiza on Friday 18th of May, taxi from the airport to Azuline in S. Antonio bay costed 33 Euro. Our rooms were clean and had air con but was very noisy. The hotel is quite outdated (min. 30 year old) but apart from that everything was great. Breakfast, lunch and dinner was served in the building across the road in a huge room overlooking the bay. Food was very good and plentiful, staff were polite and every day was either fresh fish or meat on the grill cooked before your eyes, on top of the usual salads & other cooked foods. Desert included, ice cream, a range of sweets and fruits. Between meals, soft drinks incl beers/alcohol and snacks were available for free. The pool area has plenty sun-beds but not sure if there are enough especially in high season. There was a pool table, table tennis, and air football and plenty tables with chairs to soak up the sun once the pool area was closed. The only bad point of the hotel is that it is 30 min walk from the main bar area but only 5-6 Euros by taxi. There are plenty bars on either side of the hotel and of course on the way to town so don't panic!! While you are there you have to go to one of the big nightclubs, tickets are sold in different bars so make sure you ask before you buy as you could be paying more. Club Paradiso has its opening night and tickets were being sold from 25-40 Euro so shop around. A beer in the club was 7 Euro. Overall great holiday but would have hoped the hotel was closer to the party area.

“ Top Tip: Instead of paying for taxis to and from the airport rent a car and drive to Cala Tarida, a beautiful sandy beach with tirquaz sea colour. It is worth visiting Ibiza town too, San Antonio is like any other English resort, I was very happily surprised by the old town in Ibiza, the views from the castle are spectacular and walking around the citadel was fab. Plenty of restaurants and bars for everyones taste and of course the famous nightclub Pacha!!

“ Paid less and had better. Only good thing about this hotel was the rooms where cleaned everyday and fresh towels everyday. We had to cross road to get to resturant and the food not that good, had to warm few of our meals up in microwave on a number of occasions. Bar staff not very friendly, one young fella who works there wouldnt even look at you when serving your drinks. They only allow two drinks per customer and there given in little plastic cups awful!! They DO NOT serve anyone as soon as its 11 oclock even people who have been queuing for 10/15 min there chased away which i noticed on a number of occasions. Beware of the wet tiles in the outside bar area i had a bad fall on these and hurt my knee, apparently i was the third person to have fell that day.

“ Hotel good met lots of people to talk too. my firstn holiday on my own and enjoyed it would go back again.
