Check-in date:

Basic but clean and friendly hotel.
Good position for beach, shops and restaurants.
Not all rooms have air con but you can hire a fan which helps.
No lift, hard work with bags as we were on the third ( top floor).
Continential breakfast was adequate.

Top Tip: Take a boat trip to Formentera, beautiful clear shallow waters at the beaches there.
Boat trip takes about one hour. We went down to Es Canar, only a short bus or taxi journey, had a couple of good evenings in Charlies bar, entertainment on and open late.

The best aspect of the hotel is how clean it is and how friendly and helpful the staff are. The worst aspect was the hidden extra costs. For example, if you want air conditioning; if you want to use the safety deposit box in your room then . There is WIFI available in the lobby only which the hotel began charging for midway through our stay. However, now that you're aware of the hidden extras I would recommend the hotel as the staff were wonderful and the place was immaculate.

Just to let you know what's included in breakfast: Each day there is 3 types of cereal; bread/toast, slices of cheese, ham and sausage; watermelon; tea/coffee; fruit juice. Sometimes there is also eggs or yoghurt too. The breakfast staff work very hard to ensure that all these options are available throughout the dining time so you don't have to worry about getting there at 10am and everything being eaten.

Top Tip: FOOD AND DRINK
The 'Rincon de Pepe' restaurant which is the first on the restaurant strip near the hotel (they have a flyer for it if you can't find it) was the best find of our trip. They do tapas and it was really good. The bar 'Click' was really good too as the cocktails were 6.50 euros each as opposed to 10-12 euros in the main town.

CLUBS
A few tips of costs. Don't go to the super club Space. It cost 60 Euros to get in, a rum and coke cost 14 euros, a bottle of wine (which was disgusting) cost 60 euros. The bar staff laugh in your face if you ask for a glass of tap water or ice and the bouncers are equally rude if you ask if you can leave the premises and return later. On top of the fact that one of the head line acts (grooveamarda) were just one of them doing a dj set AND they didn't come on when scheduled was the final straw. That place is a waste of time.

We found DC10 to be a little better. It's quite small but entrance was only 10euroes and whilst drinks were still dear they were more generous with the booze. I recommend getting a vodka and fanta lemon as even though it is 12 Euros, they put about 3 shots of vodka in so it's better value for money. Drink them slowly though.

TRAVEL
You can get a bus the Ibiza town for 1.80 euros (nightbus is 3 euros). The hotel has leaflets with lots of bus information.

A taxi from the airport to the hotel is about 30 euros, there is a bus but we didn't take it.

THINGS TO DO
Don't miss a visit to the Old Town in the main city and also the sunset strip in San Antonia (where Cafe Del Mar is).

Formentera is also beautiful but was a little crowded. Still worth a visit though. Ferries to the island cost 32euros from Santa Eulalia or 20 euros from Ibiza town (where boats also run more regularly)
