“ Great location, on the beach, the food was very good, catering for all tastes, staff were attentive and friendly, spotlessly clean throughout. We did not stay in the hotel during the day, so were not bothered about not getting a sunbed, but this could be a problem in high season if you like sitting around the pool, A great resort with plenty to do and easy transport links. If you like a quiet holiday then the Orquidea is probably not a good choice, particularly if your room overlooks the pool area, but as we were out every day this was not a problem. The apartments are not very soundproof and alot of noise can be heard from people on upper floors, and along the corridors, as there are no carpets, so a top floor request would be advisable if you like a bit of peace at night!! However, this is by no means a complaint as overall, the hotel is fantastic value for money, in a beautiful resort and we would recommend it.

“ Top Tip: The traditional train that leaves from outside the town hall was a really fun excursion, and worth the money if only for the entertainment provided by the driver, hilarious!! There is also a Thomas the Tank train that leaves from the promenade by the market stalls, its 3 hours and visits some beautiful bays and countryside, again well worth the money. Lovely restaurants throughout Santa Eulalia, never had a bad meal, but a particularly nice one is the Las Ramblas, by the market stalls, very traditional setting, and a menu of the day, 3 courses for 12 Euros.

“ Came back last week from this hotel and i am already looking at returning here next year, went with my Nan and 2 children age 9 and 3 and it suited us all. Only a 1 minute walk from the beach and 5-10 min walk from seafront bars and restaurants. Great staff, very clean and a perfect location. I would recommend to all.

“ This hotel has an lot going for it and my wife and me enjoyed every aspect of it - EXCEPT - the continuous very loud music blaring around the pool area from morning until quite late evening. There are four speakers affixed to the walls either side of the pool and immediately below the first floor bedrooms (we were 2nd floor) and this room was an upgrade (5 Euros a day) for the week !
We had to ask reception 4 times over 3 days to have the music level reduced and while this was done for a while, the level increased to very loud again.
We eventually learned to live with it.
Our room had everything required (except for a kettle).

“ Top Tip: The system of small ferry boats to and from Santa Eulalia operated from the marina which is close to the hotel (about a 5-7 minute walk away). This facilitated our return having walked to Es Cana one day and Cala Llonga on another occasion, as well as from Eivissa (Ibiza Town) towards the end of our week. The hotel is a similar walk from the bus station and the services are frequent and reasonably priced.
