If one was self catering the kitchen was ok but there was no plug to plug in the kettle (which you had to get from the reception), otherwise everything was ok. I would stay there again if I visited Santa Eularia. Santa Eularia is a beautiful place.

Right on the beachfront of Santa Eulalia , you'll find the modern Aparthotel Orquidea. Its superb location, high standard of accommodation and its large swimming pool, make it a much-loved holiday choice for families.

Location

Aparthotel Orquidea is located in the centre of Santa Eulalia, one of the most beautiful resorts in Ibiza. It is situated in front of the fantastic sandy beach with breathtaking views over the sea and only 2 minutes walk from the centre of the town.

Accommodation

The hotel has five floors and it is served by three lifts. All rooms (Studios and Apartments) are equipped with a direct dial telephone, fridge, safety deposit box (extra charge payable locally), satellite TV (limited channels), fully equipped kitchenette with toasters and kettles, fridge, microwave and private bathroom. They all have centralised air conditioning as well as central heating. Studios sleep up to 3 adults with twin beds, a single sofa bed and bathroom with private facilities. One bedroom apartments sleep up to 4 adults with a twin bedroom and single sofa beds. The staff are at your disposal for anything you may need to assure you a wonderfully comfortable stay in Ibiza. Maid Service: 6 times a week.

Facilities

There is an outdoor swimming pool with a separate childrens section and sun loungers and parasols around the pool. There is also Pool Bar and a Lounge Bar plus a buffet style restaurant.

Additional facilities include a TV room, Squash Court, Table Tennis, Pool Table and a Games Room. The hotel also provides WI-FI Internet Connection ( payable locallyt ) and a Cyber Corner.

The Hotel Orquidea has its own car park and offers daily newspapers and stationary, tourist information, currency exchange, car rental, 24 hours Reception and express check-out.

Starting the summer 2012 Season, the hotel will offer show-cooking area in the Buffet Restaurant.

“ Top Tip: There's some lovely walks around and the one we liked was the walk by the river to the old stone bridge! Also the walk to Puig de Misser has some lovely views!

“ We stayed for 3 nights self catering in a studio, the hotel is clean but very basic and had we been staying any longer we would have requested another room as we were on the ground floor very close to the lifts and it was noisy during the night with people coming in from a night out. Also the fridge in the room was very noisy on/off and woke us up during the night as well as the soil pipe that was boxed in and ran down the corner of our room, every time another room on the upstairs floors flushed their toilet (which was quite often during the night) it woke us up with the sound of water rushing down the pipe! The bed was also very hard and we both came home with back ache! On the plus side, it was very clean and is in an excellent position, being right on the beach and very easy walking distance to cafe's, bars and restaurants.

“ Top Tip: Santa Eulalia is a beautiful place, we had a lovely relaxing 3 days away and will return with our 2 year old daughter at some point in the future, the two beaches on the front are lovely but we will be staying 4* next time. 'Bar Dona Ana' behind the ferry jetty do really tasty english breakfasts & snacks and a great Sangria at good prices. 'Miretta' do lovely ice creams and you must find 'restaurant street', we ate at 'The Gallery' and 'Hostal' and had two excellent quality meals.

“ Friendly staff. Totally adequate room,good hot water and pressure,walls a bit thin! Near all amenities. Lots of sunbeds,but it was end of season.Location [ on the promenade, next to the beach and so close to town and the local supermarket] is very good.

“ Top Tip: Take a walk along the nearby river estuary and spot kingfishers, reed warblers and little egrets.
Find good eating places on the pedestrianised street behind the main street.

“ Third time here - second time this year. Have been self catering, all incl and b and b - can't fault this place. 1 min from beach and minutes from shops and bars. Lots of families (I have been on girls holidays not with family) Round the pool, esp in summer hols obviously. No hesitation in recommending, clean, friendly, love this place,

“ Top Tip: Worth upgrading on site. Pool view rooms may be noisy in height of summer tho.
